The Bilge Rats are celebrating the arrival of Quest Boards, Buried Treasure Stash maps, and Fireworks with unique cosmetics! You will now find Party Weapon cosmetics to purchase from the Weapon Shop.
Before you can get your hands on these jovial cosmetics, you’ll need to complete several Buried Treasure commendations!
Party Boat Weapon Cosmetics
You can unlock the Party Boat Blunderbuss by completing the Gunpowder, Treason and Plot commendation.
To unlock the Party Boat Cutlass, you’ll need to complete the Stolen Secrets commendation.
If you wish to aim down the sights of the Party Boat Eye of Reach, you’ll need to complete the Heir of the Trickster commendation.
If you are looking to catch the wind with the Party Boat Pistol, you’ll need to Hunting Boat commendation.
Commendations
Below you’ll find guides on how to complete each of the required commendations to unlock the entire Party Boat Weapon Cosmetic set.
Gunpowder, Treason and Plot
Start a fire on another crew’s ship by setting off a firework.
To complete this commendation, you’ll need to shoot a Firework at another ship and have the Firework light that ship on fire.
Fireworks have a tiny chance of igniting any ship they hit. However, because it’s not guaranteed, you’ll want to gather a handful of them before you go shooting any pirate ships!
You can purchase Fireworks from the Merchant Alliance or find them randomly in REsourec Barrels across the Sea of Thieves.
Once you have a few Fireworks, find an enemy crew and blast away! Hopefully, one of your Fireworks will set their ship on fire.
This is not a crew-based Challenge, so you’ll need to be the one to ignite the ship!
Hunting Boat
Defeat enemies using a Cannon Rowboat.
To complete this commendation, you’ll need to kill 25 enemies using the Cannon Rowboat. You can kill skeletons, Ocean Crawlers, Sirens, or other pirates to receive credit towards this commendation.
You’ll first need to find a Cannon Rowboat. Cannon Rowboats randomly spawn on the shores of islands. So sail around the Sea of Thieves and keep an eye out on the beach of each island you pass.
Once you have a Cannon Rowboat, you are ready to take down some enemies!
An easy way is to go on an Order of Souls Bounty Voyage and gather groups of skeletons near the beach. Then, row your Cannon Rowboat to the shore and fire away!
Stolen Secrets
Steal a Map Bundle from another crew.
To complete this commendation, you will first need to steal another pirate crew’s Map Bundle. You can find Map Bundles placed on the Voyage Table of other pirate crew’s ships.
You can either steal a Map Bundle using stealth or using force. Or you could perhaps get a friendly crew to lend you theirs!
To steal a Map Bundle with stealth, you will have to sneak aboard another crew’s ship and physically steal the Map Bundle you find there.
To steal a Map Bundle with force, you will have to sink another crew’s ship with a Map Bundle and gather it once it has surfaced.
Once you have a stolen Map Bundle, go to your ship’s Voyage Table and “Place” or “Combine” the Map Bundle on your ship’s Voyage Table. Once the maps are in your possession, you will complete the commendation.
Heir of the Trickster
Set traps by burying primed Gunpowder Barrels.
To complete this commendation, you will need to bury ten different Gunpowder Barrels. They don’t all have to be on the same island or at the same time.
You can find Gunpowder Barrels randomly on islands or amongst Barrels of Plenty. You can also easily find them at Skeleton Forts.
Sail to any inactive Skeleton Fort and gather your Gunpowder Barrels. You can bury them right there on the fort or take them with you to use as traps! Bury ten, and you will complete the commendation.
