The Cerulean Sheen Cutlass is a Microsoft Rewards exclusive, and you can earn it without spending a single point. All it takes is a Microsoft account and a few days of sailing the World Wide Web!
Cerulean Sheen Cutlass
To get the Cerulean Sheen Cutlass, you must complete a Quest on the Microsoft Rewards dashboard. The cutlass isn’t part of a larger set, and you can’t purchase it from any in-game shop. You can only add it to your Armoury by completing the Quest on Microsoft Rewards.
The cutlass is also time-limited, so you’ll want to start the Quest sooner rather than later. You have until January 15, 2027, to complete every activity from the Quest and claim the cutlass.
The Quest is a short checklist of activities on the Microsoft Rewards dashboard, similar to previous Microsoft Rewards Punch Cards.
To activate the Quest, click through to the official Sea of Thieves website. Then, complete at least one Bing search a day for five days on both your desktop and mobile device to claim the cutlass.
Only one search counts in any 24-hour window, so extra searches in a single day will not speed things up. Keep an eye on the Quest between searches. If a search doesn’t register right away, give it a few minutes, then refresh the page before running another. Once the final search lands, the Quest marks itself complete.
Make sure you are logged into Microsoft Rewards and the official Sea of Thieves website with the same account you use for Sea of Thieves. If your accounts don’t match, you won’t receive credit or the cutlass.
The Quest is only available to select Microsoft Rewards accounts. If the Quest doesn’t appear on your dashboard when you sign in, your account is not among the participating accounts.
