Brave pirates who take on the Fort of the Damned during the Festival of the Damned can find more than Shadow of Fate Skeletons and the Ghost of Graymarrow. Wearing the unique Soulflame Mask can summon Soulflame Skeletons. However, they are quick to scare, so you’ll need to chase one down before it digs back into the ground to escape.
Soulflame Skeleton
Soulflame Skeletons are enemies that you can summon at an active Fort of the Damned by wearing the Soulflame Mask during a Festival of the Damned Event. You can’t find Soulflame Skeletons anywhere else other than the Fort of the Damned.
Like Ancient Skeletons, Soulflame Skeletons will try to flee once spotted. Listen for the clanging of coins as they emerge from the ground to get the jump on them. You’ll have to chase them down and defeat them before they dig back into the ground and disappear.
Each time anyone dispatches a Soulflame Skeleton, every pirate on the fort, regardless of crew, earns a Doubloon. You don’t have to land the final blow to get credit.
The more pirates who wear the mask at the Fort of the Damned, the more often Soulflame Skeletons appear. With just one pirate wearing the mask, you can expect a Soulflame Skeleton to appear about once a minute.
