Captain Flameheart is calling all pirates to take up arms in his name. While pledging your allegiance to him is one way to show your loyalty, there are other ways to pay tribute. For example, if you want to be a faithful servant, you could wield Flameheart’s Cutlass during your next fight!
How to get Flameheart's Cutlass
To unlock Flameheart’s Cutlass, you be a Pirate Legend and reach Renown Level 100 during Season 8.
If you reach Pirate Legend after reaching Renown Level 100, Flameheart’s Cutlass and all the previous Pirate Legend cosmetics will immediately unlock.
How do you raise your Renown Level?
There are four main ways of raising your Renown level:
- Completing repeatable Renown actions
- Completing Deeds and Trials
- Completing challenges from Special Events
- Completing Deeds from Adventures

Just be sure you reach Renown Level 100 before the Season ends, and Flameheart’s Cutlass is lost to the sea.
