It’s hard to imagine a time before Shipwrights equipped Harpoons with every ship in the Sea of Thieves. How could life be any better? Well, the Shipwrights are not ones to rest on their laurels. They’ve worked hard on improving the Harpoon and making our lives on the sea even more comfortable!
Harpoon Improvements
The next time you use a Harpoon on your ship, the treasure you reel in will instantly detach from the Harpoon and drop behind you. As a result, you or a crew mate will no longer have to manually remove pieces of treasure and drop them on your deck. Instead, the loot will neatly pile up behind you as you grab each piece.
This improvement applies to Rowboats and the Sovereigns’ Hut as well! Rowboats equipped with a harpoon will place any harpooned treasure in the middle of the Rowboat, while the Sovereigns’ Hut harpoon will place the harpooned loot on the platform that lowers into the hut!
