What is the Hunter's Fishing Map Voyage?

The Hunter’s Fishing Map is a single-chapter Hunter’s Call Voyage that will have you catching six Treasured Fish at two designated locations along the shoreline of a large island.

To find the Treasured Fish, you’ll follow a Fishing Map to a large island with two circles marked in the surrounding water. You’ll find a shoal of Treasured Fish at each circle waiting for you to catch.

Catch all three Treasured Fish at each shoal to complete the Voyage.

How do you start the Hunter's Fishing Map Voyage?

To start the Hunter’s Fishing Map Voyage, go to your Quest Table, choose Voyages, and then select the Hunter’s Call Trading Company. Under Fishing Voyages, you’ll see A Hunter’s Fishing Map. You must be at least Hunter’s Call Reputation Level 10 to start the Voyage.

A Hunter's Fishing Map: Step by Step

Step 1: Start the Voyage

Vote on the Voyage from your Quest Table to start the A Hunter’s Fishing Map Voyage. You can either Sail or Dive to the Voyage.

Once you’ve voted for and started A Hunter’s Fishing Map Voyage, you will receive one Quest, a Fishing Map. You can open the Fishing Map from your Quest Radial.

Once you have the Fishing Map equipped, you will see one large island with two circles marked in the water nearby. Each circle marks where you will find a shoal with three Treasured Fish you must catch.

Step 2: Sail or Dive to the island

The large island will be nearby if you voted to Sail to the Voyage. If you vote to Dive, you will emerge in front of a random large island after traveling beneath the waves.

Step 3: Catch three Treasured Fish

Once you have arrived at the large island, check your Fishing Map for one of the circle’s locations to see which side of the island you should search. As you approach the circle, scan the top of the water for a disturbance. The exact location of the shoal is at the misty circle of splashing water.

Stop your ship near the shoal, giving yourself room to cast your Fishing Rod into it. You should be able to see the three Treasured Fish you need to catch. Don’t worry if one escapes while you try to catch it. It will return to the shoal so you can try again. You can’t fail the Voyage.

Remember, you don’t need Bait to lure Treasured Fish, so cast away without needing to prepare your Fishing Rod.

You can expect to catch Treasured Pondies, Devilfish, Ancientscales, Wreckers, and Stormfish.

After you catch the third Treasured Fish, the shoal will disappear, and you can move on to the second shoal.

Step 4: Catch three more Treasured Fish

Make your way to the second shoal, and you’ll find three more Treasured Fish to catch.

After you catch the sixth Treasured Fish, you will complete the Voyage. You can vote to start another or head to the closest Outpost or Seapost to sell your Treasured Fish.
