The Guardians of Fortune and Servants of the Flame have been busy expanding their respective hideouts. Pirates who fight for either Faction and reach an Allegiance of 100 will be able to venture into the expansions and discover what secrets hide within!
Faction Hideouts
Faction Hideouts are among the many rewards for pirates who pledge and fight for a Faction. Both Hideouts contain new characters to speak to, new tools to interact with, and hidden secrets to find!
The Hideouts also contain the ceremony and ritual required to receive the Ghostly and Skeleton Curse.
Athena’s Fortune Hideout
The Tavern of Legends is the Athena’s Fortune Hideout expansion exclusive to the most passionate Guardians of Fortune. To enter, you must meet two requirements: be a Pirate Legend and be at least an Allegiance of 100 with the Guardians of Fortune.
After you have met those requirements, speak with the Pirate Lord in the Athena’s Fortune Hideout, and he will open the door to the tavern for you.

What’s inside the Tavern of Legends
Inside you will find several new characters to speak with and a tool to use.
The new characters include:
- Samuel
- Gloria
- Merrick
- Belle
The new tool is the Faction Map Table. The Faction Map Table shows the location of all Faction ships on your server. You can use Faction Map Table to find rival ships for fighting without having to invade and lose any treasure you might have collected.
The most exciting feature found inside the Tavern of Legends is the Blessing of Athena’s Fortune ceremony!
Blessing of Athena's Fortune
As soon as you gain access to the Tavern of Legends, you can take part in the Blessing of Athena’s Fortune and unlock your Ghostly Curse!
Head to the back of the tavern to find Belle and Merrick. Stand on the Athena seal in front of them, and you will see the prompt to “Receive Blessing of Athena’s Fortune.” The ceremony will begin as soon as you interact with the prompt, and the Pirate Lord will bless you. You will receive the Ghostly Curse, and it will be in your Vanity Chest for you to use whenever you please.
The Reaper's Lair
The Reaper’s Lair is The Reaper’s Hideout expansion exclusive to dedicated Servants of the Flame. To enter, you must meet two requirements: have a Reputation of 75 with the Reaper’s Bones and be at least an Allegiance of 100 with the Servants of the Flame.
After you have met those requirements, speak with the Servant of the Flame to acquire a unique shanty that will activate a lift that descends into The Reaper’s Lair.
After receiving the shanty, stand on the wooden platform in the center of The Reaper’s Hideout and play any instrument! The shanty will automatically play and lower the lift into The Reaper’s Lair.

Inside you will find several new characters to speak with and a Faction Map Table.
The new characters include:
- Bonesmith
- Hammer & Anvil
- Humerus
- Tibia
- Voice of the Flame
One of the more popular characters in The Reaper’s Lair is the Bonesmith. He is the go-to merchant for all things Skeleton Curse.
The Reaper’s Lair also has a Faction Map Table to help you find rival ships.
Ritual of the Flame
As soon as you gain access to The Reaper’s Lair, you can take part in the Ritual of the Flame and unlock the Skeleton Curse!
Head to the bottom of the lair to find the Voice of the Flame. Stand in front of them, and you will see the prompt to “Kneel to begin Ritual of the Flame.” The ritual will begin as soon as you interact with the prompt, and you will drink from the cursed chalice. You will receive the Skeleton Curse, and it will be in your Vanity Chest for you to use whenever you please.
