One of the many puzzles you must solve during The Lair of LeChuck Tall Tale is how to make a banana fall from its tree. If you have already destroyed the Monkey Totem to collect the Totem Monkey Idol, you might know how to accomplish this. However, if you have yet to knock down the Monkey Totem, you might be left scratching your head.

How to make a banana fall from its tree

To make a banana fall from its tree, you must hit the lone banana tree on the South beach with a Boulder flung from Herman’s Primitive Art. The velocity and mass of the Boulder will be strong enough to knock a few bananas off the tree.

However, to hit the tree, you’ll need to correctly rotate the Primitive Art so it is aiming for the tree.

Rotate Primitive Art

Make your way to the island’s Northside, where the riverbed is, and climb up the footholds to the Primitive Art. Approach the Primitive Art to interact with it. Continue to rotate it until the side without a Boulder is facing toward Herman’s Camp. You should see the black smoke from his campfire coming out behind a large tree.

Drop Boulder

After you’ve rotated the art to point toward the banana tree, climb another foothold to reach the ledge above the Primitive Art. You’ll find a pile of Boulders in the corner that you can interact with. Pick up a Boulder and place it on the carved X near the end of the ledge.

Once the Boulder is in position, you can push it on the Primitive Art. The Boulder will fly from the Primitive Art above the jungle and hit the banana tree.
