Season 9 introduced two new commendations for bloodthirsty pirates to overcome. One of these commendations, Reaper’s Riches, has pirates selling Reaper’s Chests and Reaper’s Bounties to The Reaper’s Bones. Unfortunately, while selling a chest might sound easy enough, getting a Reaper’s Chest or Reaper’s Bounty could be challenging!
Reaper's Riches
The Reaper’s Riches commendation has only one Grade to achieve, with more Grades added in future Seasons. Therefore, as future Seasons release, the Grade for Reaper’s Riches and the number of chests you’ll need to sell will increase.
Reaper's Riches Grade 1
You must hand in 30 Reaper’s Chests or Reaper’s Bounties to The Reaper’s Bones to complete Grade 1 of the Reaper’s Riches commendation.
As soon as you hand in your 30th chest to The Reaper’s Bones, you will complete the commendation and unlock the Fates of Fortune Cutlass and Fates of Fortune Pistol.
How to find a Reaper's Chest
Reaper’s Chests randomly spawn in shipwrecks throughout the Sea of Thieves. You can also find them in the vault of the Fort of the Damned.
How to find a Reaper's Bounty
Reaper’s Bounties also randomly spawn in shipwrecks as well as in the vault of the Fort of the Damned.
