Each Bilge Rats Weekender, Larinna will task pirates with the same set of five Challenges to work on. You only need to complete each Challenge once, and you can complete them in any order.

Completing each Challenge will reward you with 65 Doubloons, adding up to 325 Doubloons across all five, which you can put toward cosmetics in Larinna’s Black Market or Duke’s Smugglers’ Market.

You will automatically receive them in your Quest Radial upon entering the Sea of Thieves on the High Seas.

Below you’ll find the five Challenges for the Bilge Rats Weekender in June 2026.

Sip grog while bathing in a ship full of water heated by a volcano

To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to drink grog while standing in a ship full of heated water by a volcano.

To work on this Challenge, you’ll want to set sail for The Devil’s Roar. After adding some water to your ship’s hull by any means necessary, you’ll want to sail toward an active volcano. If you don’t see an active volcano on the horizon, you can sail to one of the large islands or volcanoes in the region and wait for it to erupt.

Dock your ship near the island or volcano. When it explodes, the eruption will heat the water in your ship. You’ll know it is heated as it will steam, froth, and inflict damage if you are standing in it.

While standing in the water and taking damage, equip your Tankard from your Quest Radial and drink it to complete the Challenge.

This is an individual Challenge so each member in your crew will need to take a sip in the heated water.

Drunkenly bunk down in an Ancient Gold Fortress bed

To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to sleep in one of the beds at Ancient Gold Fortress while drunk.

You can find Ancient Gold Fortress at the map coordinates F-19 in The Ancient Isles. Once there, you’ll want to clear out any Phantoms there. While you can complete the Challenge during an active Sea Fort, the Phantoms there might make it difficult to drink and sleep successfully.

Head to the dining area on the first floor and find the Grog Barrels. You’ll need to drink three Tankards of grog to be drunk for the Challenge. Quickly drink three full Tankards, refilling at the Grog Barrels, and make your way up the stairs to the second floor. You’ll find the sleeping area with several beds. Interact with any one of the beds while drunk to complete the Challenge.

This is an individual Challenge so each member in your crew will need to take a nap on the Sea Fort.

Take a ride on a Harpoon Rowboat attached to a Megalodon

To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to use the Harpoon on a Harpoon Rowboat on a Megalodon.

You can randomly find Rowboats on the shores of islands in any region across the Sea of Thieves. The type of Rowboat you can find is also random, as there are regular Rowboats, Harpoon Rowboats, Cannon Rowboats, and Reaper’s Bones Rowboats.

Once you find a Harpoon Rowboat, attach it to your ship and hunt for a Megalodon. You can find an emergently Megalodon or embark on the Tracker’s Megalodon Hunt Voyage for a guaranteed Megalodon.

After tracking down a Megalodon, get in your Harpoon Rowboat and fire it at the Megalodon so it sticks, dragging you in the Harpoon Rowboat behind it.

This is a crew-based Challenge, so any member of your crew can harpoon the Megalodon.

Using a Horn of Fair Winds, launch a pirate from another crew off their ship

To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to use the Horn of Fair Winds to blow a rival pirate off their ship.

You can find the Horn of Fair Winds in Siren Treasuries or randomly in emergent shipwrecks and Siren Shrines. You also have a slight chance of discovering one washed up on islands across the Sea of Thieves.

Once you have a Horn of Fair Winds, it’s time to find a rival crew. You’ll need to board their ship and use the Horn of Fair Winds to blow any one of the rival crew members off their ship to complete the Challenge.

This is a crew-based Challenge, so any member of your crew can use the Horn of Fair Winds.

Dance with 4 other pirates while wearing a hat during a Bilge Rats Firework Display

To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to dance with four other pirates while wearing a hat during a Bilge Rats Firework Display.

As you’ll need to dance with at least four other pirates, you’ll need to complete this Challenge with one or more crews, even if you are sailing on a Galleon.

Once you have four other pirates, wait for the Firework Display to start on an Outpost. Only one Firework Display occurs at a time, taking place at 9pm in-game. You can speak with Larinna to find out which Outpost will have the next Firework Display. Each Firework Display lasts three minutes, so you’ll have between 9pm and 12am in-game to vomit.

The schedule for the Firework Display is as follows:

  • Sanctuary Outpost
  • Port Merrick Outpost
  • Plunder Outpost
  • Ancient Spire Outpost
  • Dagger Tooth Outpost
  • Galleon’s Grave Outpost

Make sure you are wearing a hat and have any Dance emote equipped. You can use any Dance emote, and only the pirate trying to complete the Challenge needs to be wearing a hat.

This is an individual Challenge, so each member in your crew will need to dance while wearing a hat.
