One of the many commendations you can complete as you sleep and sit your way through the Sea of Thieves is the Tribute Seat commendation.
To complete this commendation, you must take a seat upon the throne at the end of the ‘Shores of Gold’ Tall Tale. To do this, you will need to reach the Shores of Gold and take on the mighty Gold Hoarder.
You can only complete this commendation during the Shores of Gold Tall Tale. You’ll need to complete the previous eight Tall Tales in the Shores of Gold Tall Tale series before you can begin the Shores of Gold Tall Tale.

Tribute Seat Commendation
Once you start the Shores of Gold Tall Tale, progress your way through the Tall Tale until you arrive in the final room where the Gold Hoarder is.
To reach him, you will have to sail to Tribute Peak, solve four vault puzzles, and make your way through the belly of the island.
When you first encounter the Gold Hoarder, he will be sitting on the throne you need to eventually it in.
Walk in the room to start the battle. The Gold Hoarder will stand up and start attacking you. You can go straight for his vacant throne and sit in it, or defeat him and sit it in the throne in peace. Either way, you will complete the commendation as soon as you do.
