If you are just looking to complete “The Castaway’s Musings” and read all of Herman’s notes, your first step is to make your way to Monkey Island!
Herman's Note #1
You can find this note on the south beach just North of the banana tree. It is sitting on a red rock at the entrance of Herman’s Camp.
Herman's Note #2
You can find this note on the east beach by the Sea Monkey shipwreck. It is sitting on a pile of long wood planks.
Herman's Note #3
You can find this note on the North East beach by the dirt path that leads to the Stone Monkey Head. It is sitting on a large red rock to the right of the passage.
Herman's Note #4
You can find this note in the Supply Cache in the ravine. It is sitting across from the chest of Chilled Banana Soup. You’ll need to find Herman’s Supply Cache Key in one of the four wooden carvings before you can enter the Supply Cache.
Herman's Note #5
You can find this note on the Old Pocket Watch path in the jungle. It is lying on the ground across from the Old Pocket Watch.
Herman's Note #6
You can find this note by the mast and Caged Monkey Idol to the West. It sits on some long wooden planks on the hill North of the mast.
Herman's Note #7
You can find this note in the Stockade at the crater. It is sitting on the table between the cannon and the pot. You’ll need to find Herman’s Stockade Key before entering the Stockade. You can find the key in the location circled on the map pinned to the Stockade door.
Herman's Note #8
You can find this note on the path that leads to the base of the zipline from the Stockade. It is sitting on a large red rock.
Herman's Note #9
You can find this note on the North hill next to the Primitive Art. It is sitting on the mountainside West of the Primitive Art.
Herman's Note #10
You can find this note in the swamp near the hanging skeleton. It is sitting at the base of a large tree just South West of the hanging skeleton.
