As you plunder Sanctuaries of the Banished for valuable ancient artifacts, you’ll want to keep an eye out for a particular relic, the Trident of the Banished. Forged by the Banished Ancients, the corrupted weapon can poison any enemy, no matter how fierce, including the mighty Eternal Guard!
Where can you find a Trident of the Banished?
During Season 18, you can only find a Trident of the Banished inside a Sanctuary of the Banished. To open a Sanctuary of the Banished, you must acquire a Sanctuary of the Banished Key by defeating an Eternal Guard.
You can randomly find Eternal Guards on large islands across the sea. However, you are more likely to find one on a large island in The Devil’s Roar. Explore islands looking for their sarcophagi, perform the summoning ritual, and take down the Eternal Guard. Upon defeat, it will drop a Sanctuary of the Banished Key that you can use at any of the three sanctuaries.
The three sanctuaries are beneath the following islands:
- Sanctuary of the Veil – Brimstone Rock (Y18)
- Sanctuary of the Dark Widow – Cinder Islet (U14)
- Sanctuary of the Unending Flame – Flame’s End (V19)
Inside each Sanctuary of the Banished, you’ll find two Tridents of the Banished.
