The Hunter’s Call has seen less activity around their Seaposts since the Sovereigns showed up. Feeling left out of the fun life of a Captain, they’ve decided to work with the Sovereign. Pirates at any Seapost can now turn in fish, meat, and treacherous plunder to the Sovereigns to receive gold and Hunter’s Call reputation!
Sell Hunter's Call Items to the Sovereigns
Captains can now sell all Hunter’s Call items to the Sovereigns! So, the next time you sell fish, meat, or Treacherous Plunder to the Sovereigns, you will receive gold and Hunter’s Call reputation.
While selling your stack of meat at an Outpost is convenient, the Hunter’s Call has incentivized dealing with them directly at a Seapost.
The Hunter’s Call will offer a 1.5 gold multiplier for any item they accept! The gold multiplier will work with fish, meat, Treacherous Plunder, Mermaid Gems, Siren Gems, Breath of the Sea, and Collector’s Chests.
So, selling your cooked Ruby Splashtail to the sovereigns will give you 115 gold, while selling it to the Hunter’s Call will earn you 173 gold.
However, remember that the 1.5 multiplier is only for gold, not reputation.
UPDATE: As of Season 15, the bonus for selling directly to the Hunter’s Call is no longer in effect. You can sell to either the Hunter’s Call or Sovereigns for the same payout.
