The Battle for the Sea of Thieves continues to rage as Captain Flameheart and the Pirate Lord clash in their quest to control the sea! Both leaders call their followers to pledge their Allegiance and fight for their Faction during the Fight Nights Event!
What is the Fight Nights Event?
During Fight Nights, you can earn double Allegiance and Gold for the Guardians of Fortune and the Servants of the Flame by fighting rival crews in Hourglass Faction Battles. You’ll also receive double Allegiance and Gold for selling Emissary Flags won in battle.
But that’s not all! You can unlock two event-exclusive Trinkets by winning three fights for each Faction.
Defeating three rival crews while pledged to the Guardians of Fortune will unlock the “A Golden Victory” ship trinket. And defeating three rival crews while pledged to the Servants of the Flame will unlock the “Fire and Ash” ship trinket.
Your wins do not have to be in a row, so there’s no need for a Streak. You can gain your wins in between losses and still acquire the rewards.
For those unfamiliar with Hourglass Faction Battles, they are on-demand PVP experiences that you start by pledging your Allegiance to a Faction with the Hourglass of Fate on your ship.
Once you’ve pledged your Allegiance to a Faction, you will match with a rival crew by invading them or waiting for them to invade you. Once matched, you’ll duke it out in a confined within the shared world until one crew sinks the other.
Whether you invade or defend, win or lose, you’ll earn Allegiance for each battle. Earning Allegiance for a Faction is similar to earning Reputation for a Trading Company. You’ll want to acquire plenty of Allegiance, as reaching Allegiance Level 100 for either Faction will unlock an elusive curse!
If you are a Pirate Legend, you’ll unlock the Ghostly Curse if you achieve Allegiance Level 100 with the Guardians of Fortune! And if you are Reaper’s Bones 75, reaching Allegiance Level 100 with the Servants of the Flame will unlock the Skeleton Curse.

The Fight Nights Event runs from June 19th, 10 am UTC, to June 26th, 10 am UTC, 2025.
