Flameheart’s most devoted servants, the Order of Bone and Blade, have reawakened and emerged from their slumber. If the fire runs deep in your bones, you’ll want to adorn their unique clothing style to pay tribute to Captain Flameheart. However, before you can wear their stylish garb, you must prove yourself by completing various trials!

Order of Bone and Blade Skeleton Curse Cosmetics

There are six Order of Bone and Blade Skeleton Curse cosmetics that you can purchase from The Bonesmith: the Order of Bone and Blade Crested Skull, Captain’s Skull, Lower Body, Captain’s Lower Body, Upper Body, and Captain’s Upper Body.

Once you meet the requirements, you will unlock the cosmetics and can purchase them from The Bonesmith in the Reaper’s Lair.

Reaper Rivals

To unlock the Order of Bone and Blade Crested Skull and Captain’s Skull, you must unlock the ‘Reaper Rivals’ Commendation and reach Allegiance Levels 115 and 120 with The Servants of the Flame.

To complete the Reaper Rivals Commendation, you must sell 15 stolen Skulls of the Banished as a Reaper’s Bones Emissary while wearing the Skeleton Curse.

You can only find the Skull of the Banished from the Search for Ancient Secrets Voyage. So, you’ll need to wait for a rival crew to embark on the Voyage and acquire the skull.

You can track the skull once they have it by following its unique marker on the Map Table. You can also scan the horizon to see if another crew is working on the Voyage. During the final phase of the Voyage, while the crew digs up the Sarcophagus that holds the Skull of the Banished, a green swirling beacon will be in the sky.

Only the crew that started the Voyage can open the Sarcophagus and take the Skull of the Banished, so they are guaranteed to have touched it first, counting it as stolen.

Skeletal Sabotage

To unlock the Order of Bone and Blade Lower Body and Captain’s Lower Body, you must unlock the ‘Skeletal Sabotage’ Commendation and reach Allegiance Levels 125 and 130 with The Servants of the Flame.

To complete the Skeletal Sabotage Commendation, you must destroy a Cannon of Rage on an enemy ship while wearing the Skeleton Curse.

The Cannon of Rage takes damage from all weapons, explosions, and fire while deployed. So, as soon as you set it down on a ship, deploy it and continually slash it with your Cutlass until it explodes. You can destroy the Cannon of Rage on a Skeleton or pirate ship to achieve the Commendation.

Masterful Tactics

To unlock the Order of Bone and Blade Upper Body and Captain’s Upper Body, you must unlock the ‘Masterful Tactics’ Commendation and reach Allegiance Levels 135 and 140 with The Servants of the Flame.

To complete the Masterful Tactics Commendation, you must hit masts with Chainshots using a Cannon of Rage while wearing the Skeleton Curse 50 times. You can shoot the same ship with 50 chainshots or different ships over different sailing sessions.

Only pirate ships will count for this Commendation, as you cannot damage Skeleton Ship masts.
