While Custom Seas does not offer traditional progression like High and Safer Seas, you can still earn a generous amount of Renown for completing ten time-limited Deeds during Season 20. In addition to earning Renown, you can also unlock two cosmetics, the Custom Crafter Sails and the Legendary Beginnings Trinket.

Earn 50,000 silver by any means during a Custom Seas session.
To complete this Deed, you must earn 50,000 silver by any means necessary in Custom Seas.
After selecting Custom Seas and choosing a preset, select ‘Edit Session Switches’. Within ‘Edit Session Switches’, you can modify the ‘Scoring’ of your Custom Seas session.
Inside ‘Scoring’, turn on ‘Custom Scoring’ and ‘Start Scoring on Session Start’ options. After you’ve turned both on, scroll down to ‘Gameplay Scoring Events’ and ‘Treasure Items.’ You can modify various events or treasure items to reward set amounts of silver.
A quick way to earn 50,000 silver would be to set the scoring for killing Skeletons at 5,000. Then, after starting your Custom Seas session, spawn 10 Skeletons and defeat them all to earn 50,000 silver.
While using the Fly command in Custom Seas, use the Grapple Gun to grab a Chest of Fortune.
To complete this Deed, you must Grapple a Chest of Fortune with your Grapple Gun while flying in Custom Seas.
First, you will want to equip the Grapple Gun as a loadout weapon from the Armoury on your ship or at an Outpost.
After you have a Grapple Gun Equipped, open up your Item Radial and select Quick Commands. Once Quick Commands is open, open the Spawn Radial and select the Chest of Fortune. If you don’t already have the Chest of Fortune equipped, select Add Item, Add Treasure Item, and then choose the Chest of Fortune from Legendary Chests. You can also spawn the Chest of Fortune from the Command Menu.
Select Chest of Fortune to spawn it into the world. Then, start flying by interacting with Fly from Quick Commands. Once you are flying, equip your Grapple Gun and Grapple the Chest of Fortune.
Enter the Free Camera mode in Custom Seas with Graymarrow and the Ghost of Graymarrow present.
To complete this Deed, you must enter Free Camera after spawning Graymarrow and the Ghost of Graymarrow in Custom Seas.
First, open the Item Radial, then open Quick Commands. Once Quick Commands is open, open the Spawn Radial and select the Graymarrow as well as the Ghost of Graymarrow. If you don’t already have them equipped, select Add Item, Add Creature, and then choose the Graymarrow and Ghost of Graymarrow from the Skeleton Lords section. You can also spawn them from the Command Menu.
Select Graymarrow and Ghost of Graymarrow to spawn them into the world. Then, choose Free Camera from the Quick Commands and look at the Skeleton Lords.
Slay the Kraken while at Tribute Peak during a Custom Seas session.
To complete this Deed, you must defeat a Kraken at Tribute Peak in Custom Seas.
First, you will want to create and host a Custom Seas Game. Before setting sail, select Choose Location and pick Tribute Peak from the list of Legendary Locations.
After setting sail, open the Item Radial and select Quick Commands. Once Quick Commands is open, open the Spawn Radial and select the Kraken. If you don’t already have it equipped, select Add Item, Add Creature, and then choose the Kraken from the Kraken section. You can also spawn the Kraken from the Command Menu.
Select Kraken to spawn it into the world. Once the Kraken is at Tribute Peak, you can defeat it by any means. You can spawn dozens of Hunting Spears, Black Powder Barrels, or any other effective tool to take the Kraken down.
Crash into a Skeleton Ship while using the Quick Sail command in a Custom Seas session.
To complete this Deed, you must crash your ship into a Skeleton Ship while using Quick Sail in Custom Seas.
After setting sail in Custom Seas, you’ll want to take your ship to open water. Then, open the Item Radial and select Quick Commands. Once Quick Commands is open, open the Spawn Radial and select a Large or Small Skeleton Ship. If you don’t already have either equipped, select Add Item, Add Creature, and then choose a Skeleton Ship from the Skeleton Ships section. You can also spawn a Skeleton Ship from the Command Menu.
Select either Skeleton Ship to spawn it into the world near your ship. After the Skeleton Ship appears, get on your ship, open your Item Radial, and select Quick Commands if they are not already open. Then, while standing on your ship, select Quick Sail. You can now sail your ship directly into the Skeleton Ship.
Assign the Chest of Rage, Chest of Sorrow and Chest of a Thousand Grogs to your Spawn Radial in Custom Seas.
To complete this Deed, you must spawn the Chest of Rage, Chest of Sorrow, and Chest of a Thousand Grogs to your Spawn Radial in Custom Seas.
After setting sail, open the Item Radial and then select Quick Commands. Once Quick Commands is open, open the Spawn Radial. Then select Add Item, Add Treasure Item, and then choose the Chest of Rage, Chest of Sorrow, and Chest of a Thousand Grogs from the Cursed Chests in the Treasure Chests section.
Visit each of the Legendary Locations in a Custom Seas session.
To complete this Deed, you must visit each of the Legendary Locations in Custom Seas.
There are four Legendary Locations that you you can choose from, including:
- Tribute Peak
- Old Sailor Isle
- The Glorious Sea Dog Tavern
- The Damned Sea Dog Tavern
After choosing a preset, select Choose Location to select one of the four Legendary Locations to have your Custom Seas session in. Once you have one selected, set sail to progress the Deed. Repeat this for the remaining three locations, starting a new session for each, until you have visited all four to complete the Deed.
Visiting all four will reward you with the Legendary Beginnings Trinket for you to hang in your ship.
Battle and defeat Red Ruth, Warden Chi, and Old Horatio while at Port Merrick in a Custom Seas session.
To complete this Deed, you must defeat Red Ruth, Warden Chi, and Old Horatio at Pork Merrick in Custom Seas.
After setting sail, fast travel to Port Merrick. Once you are on the Outpost, use the Spawn Radial or Command Menu to spawn all three Ashen Lords. You can find them in the Ashen Lords section after selecting to spawn Creatures.
Spawn all three and use any other tools you can spawn to defeat them such as Black Powder Barrels or Tridents of Dark Tides.
Defeat skeletons in a Custom Seas session while Morrow's Peak Outpost is shrouded in fog and stormy skies.
To complete this Deed, you must defeat 50 skeletons while Morrow’s Peak Outpost is shrouded in fog and stormy skies in Custom Seas.
After setting sail, open the Command Menu and select World Settings. In World Settings, you can modify the locations of storm and fog.
First, select Storm Location and cycle to The Devil’s Roar. You can then move the storm to Morrow’s Peak Outpost.
After moving the storm, select Fog Location and cycle to The Devil’s Roar. You can then move the fog to Morrow’s Peak Outpost.
If you are not already at Morrow’s Peak, you can use the Command Menu to fast travel to the Outpost. Once on the Outpost, use your Spawn Radial or Command Menu to spawn 50 skeletons and defeat them.
Detonate 40 Black Powder Barrels on a single ship during a Custom Seas session.
To complete this Deed, you must detonate 40 Black Powder Barrels on a single ship in Custom Seas.
After setting sail, go to your ship and open up the Command Menu. Select Spawn Treasures and go to the Smugglers’ Treasure section. From here, you can spawn 40 Black Powder Barrels on the ship. After you spawn 40, leave the menu, pick up any Black Powder Barrel, and ignite it.
