Season 14 Community Weekend has arrived, bringing exciting celebrations! Enjoy Twitch Drops, log-in bonuses, Pop-Up Plunder, Picture Walls, and, most importantly, boosted rewards like Gold and Reputation. As with past Community Weekends, the festivities last only two days!
Season 14 Community Weekend
Season 14 Community Weekend Event runs from 11 a.m. UTC on Saturday, November 23rd, to 11 a.m. UTC on Monday, November 25th. During the event, you can unlock Twitch Drops, earn login bonuses, partake in Pop-Up Plunder to find rare treasures, discover Kegs of Ancient Blackpowder in shipwrecks, and earn boosted rewards!
Twitch Drops
Starting with Twitch Drops, you’ll want to tune into any Sea of Thieves stream on Twitch to unlock four cosmetics. The cosmetics include the Seasoned Sailor Pocket Watch, Eastern Winds Ruby Hook, Seasoned Sailor Hurdy-Gurdy, and Eastern Winds Ruby Jacket.
There’s also the special Twitch Drop, the Obsidian Captain’s Chandelier, that the community can unlock after diving to and completing 100,000 Voyages.
Community Emissary Grade
Watching Sea of Thieves streams on Twitch will earn you unique cosmetics and help raise the Community Emissary Grade. The Community Emissary Grade affects the multiplier used to boost the Gold, Reputation, Renown, and Allegiance you can earn in-game.
The more you and your fellow pirates watch Sea of Thieves streams, the higher the Community Emissary Grade will rise until maxing out at Emissary Grade 5. Emissary Grade 5 applies a 2.5 multiplier on all rewards!
You can check the current Community Emissary Grade on the Events menu in-game.
Login Bonuses
As for login bonuses, simply setting sail anytime during the Season 14 Community Weekend will earn you the Season 14 Community Weekend Flag and the Scorecard Emote. You’ll also be able to claim free fireworks from the Merchant Alliance!
All pirates will also receive an Athena’s Fortune Raid on a Sea Fort Voyage, allowing you to plunder some easy Athena’s Fortune treasure!
Kegs of Ancient Black Powder
During the Community Weekend, you’ll have a higher chance of finding Gunpowder Barrels on large islands and Sea Forts. You’ll also have a slight chance of finding Stronghold Gunpowder Barrels amongst the barrels on islands and Sea Forts and a slighter chance of finding Kegs of Ancient Black Powder in shipwrecks!
Pop-Up Plunder
After setting sail, you’ll want to watch the Sea of Thieves social channels for clues on where to find Pop-Up Plunder!
Pop-Up Plunder is a piece of treasure that the Community team from Rare can bury at specific locations across all active Sea of Thieves servers. The Pop-Up Plunder will only be discoverable for a limited time, an hour, to be precise, after being announced.
Pop-Up Plunder can be a variety of different types of treasure. You can expect to dig up Collector’s Chests filled with Siren Gems, Chests of Legends, and Chests of Fortune! It can even be a Box of Wondrous Secrets!
Every time Pop-Up Plunder becomes available, you’ll receive an in-game toast and a Pop-Up Plunder Quest Note to notify you.
You can find out where the latest Pop-Up Plunder is throughout the weekend here or by following the dedicated Pop-Up Plunder interactive map marker!
Picture Wall
And finally, the Picture Wall. Like previous Community Weekends, a beautiful Picture Wall will appear on any Outpost across the Sea of Thieves for you and your crew to pose and take pictures in front of.
