It’s time to celebrate Legends Week—an event dedicated to all the devoted Pirate Legends out there sailing the Sea of Thieves! During the celebration, you can expect boosted Athena’s Fortune rewards, a Community Goal to achieve, daily Challenges to complete, and exclusive cosmetics to earn!
What is the Legends Week Event?
During Legends Week, all pirates can earn boosted gold and reputation from any Athena’s Fortune treasure they sell to the Mysterious Stranger and the Sovereigns. Every pirate will also receive a Legend of the Veil Voyage by logging in and setting sail during the celebration.
That is what every pirate sailing the sea during Legends Week can expect.
As for Pirate Legends, they can unlock two exclusive rewards, partake in a Community Goal, and earn additional Athena’s Fortune reputation from Challenges.
Mysterious Stranger Tankard
If you are a Pirate Legend, you can unlock the first cosmetic, the Mysterious Stranger Tankard, by logging in and setting sail during the event. So, when you log in for the first time during Legends Week, you will receive the previously mentioned Legend of the Veil Voyage and the Mysterious Stranger Tankard!
It’s important to note that if you are not a Pirate Legend when the event starts but become one before it ends, you can still earn the Mysterious Stranger Tankard!
Silvered Legendary Eyepatch
Moreover, Pirate Legends can also unlock a second cosmetic, the Silvered Legendary Eyepatch, by contributing to the Community Goal of Legends! Specifically, you must complete the ‘Your Legendary Contribution’ Goal by selling the required amount of Athena’s Fortune treasure. Once you do, you are eligible for the reward and must wait for the community to sell enough Athena’s Fortune treasure and complete the Community Goal of Legends.
You will unlock the Silvered Legendary Eyepatch as soon as the community achieves the Community Goal of Legends!
Don’t worry about not receiving the eyepatch after the community achieves the Community Goal of Legends. You can still get the Silvered Legendary Eyepatch if you finish the ‘Your Legendary Contribution’ Goal after the community reaches the Community Goal of Legends. Just make sure you do it before the event ends!
Daily Challenges
But wait, that’s not all for Pirate Legends! As mentioned, Pirate Legends can earn extra Athena’s Fortune reputation by completing seven Daily Challenges.
The seven Daily Challenges will unlock one day at a time, so you can still complete them all if you start celebrating later in the event. The Daily Challenges are also not repeatable like other events, so you only need to meet the Challenge’s requirements once. You can also work on the Challenges over several sailing sessions.
What are the Legends Week rewards?
To receive a Legend of the Veil Voyage, you must log in and set sail. The voyage is a login bonus for any pirate, regardless of their reputation.
To unlock the Mysterious Stranger Tankard, you must log in and set sail as a Pirate Legend.
To unlock the Silvered Legendary Eyepatch, you must complete the ‘Your Legendary Contribution’ Goal.
How long is the Legends Week Event?
The Legends Week event runs from September 7th to September 14th.
Community Goals
During Legends Week, there is one Community Goal the community will need to complete: the Community Goal of Legends. To reach the Community Goal, pirates must sell the required amount of Athena’s Fortune treasure to the Mysterious Stranger or the Sovereigns. Once the community meets the Goal’s requirements, the Fort of Fortune will be summoned into the Sea of Thieves more frequently for 24 hours.
To participate in the Community Goal and earn your reward, you must sell Athean’s Fortune treasure yourself and complete the ‘Your Legendary Contribution’ Goal.
Legendary Daily Challenges
Complete daily challenges throughout Legends Week to earn large amounts of Athena’s Fortune reputation and Renown!
A Legendary Haul
Hand in any 2 pieces of Athena’s Fortune Treasure to achieve this Goal.
To complete this goal, sell two pieces of Athena’s Fortune treasure to the Mysterious Stranger or the Sovereigns.

Fortune Favours the Bold
Visit a Fort of Fortune and defeat its Ashen Lord to achieve this Goal.
To complete this goal, you must damage an Ashen Lord from a Fort of Fortune at least once and be on the fort when the Ashen Lord is defeated.
Light The Way
Use a Skull of Destiny to activate the Fort of the Damned to achieve this Goal.
To complete this goal, you must light all six Flames of Fate in the Fort of the Damned and start the World Event by placing a Skull of Destiny in the cage. You can easily find a Skull of Destiny by completing a Legendary Search for the Skull of Destiny Voyage. You can purchase the voyage from the Pirate Lord.
Piercing the Veil
Complete a Legend of the Veil Voyage to achieve this Goal.
To complete this goal, you must start and finish a Legend of the Veil Voyage. You can purchase the voyage from the Pirate Lord or any Shipwright if you are a Captain.

Troublesome Treasures
Complete a Legendary Search for Cursed Treasure Voyage to achieve this Goal.
To complete this goal, you must finish a Legendary Search for Cursed Treasure Voyage. You can purchase the voyage from the Pirate Lord or any Shipwright if you are a Captain.
The Legendary Search for Cursed Treasure is a multi-chapter voyage. During the voyage, you will use the Wayfinder of Legends to locate five cursed chests. Each chest is buried on a different island a short distance apart.
Battle Stations
Defeat 3 Servants of the Flame ships in Faction battles to achieve this Goal.
To complete this goal, you must win three Hourglass battles against ships that pledged allegiance to the Servants of the Flame. It doesn’t matter if you are sailing as a Guardian of Fortune or Servant of the Flame, just as long as your opponent is a Servant of the Flame.
Smouldering Plunder
Hand in an Ashen Chest of Legends to achieve this Goal.
To complete this goal, you must sell an Ashen Chest of Legends to the Mysterious Stranger or the Sovereigns. You can only find an Ashen Chest during an Ashen Athena’s Fortune Voyage.
