There are a total of ten memoir spots you need to find during The Journal to Mêlée Island Tall Tale. While finding the memoir spots are not necessary to complete the Tall Tale, they are necessary to complete every commendation and earn the Mêlée by Moonlight trinket.
You can find seven of the ten right as soon as you step foot on Mêlée. However, the remaining three will require you to solve several puzzles and progress through the Tall Tale. If you need help solving these puzzles, check out our complete walkthrough here!
An inkwell marks each memoir spot, so be on the lookout for those during your hunt!

You don’t need the key or the chef’s uniform to get on the roof if you climb up a fence in front of the general store and the church then you can jump on the rooftops
True true! Though, we don’t know if that is the way you are supposed to do it, haha! You can get to the Governor’s Mansion as soon as you step foot on the island by hopping over the wal!
