The Servants of the Flame need your help pushing back against the Pirate Lord’s forces. Other than enticing pirates with gold, they also offer Faction-exclusive rewards, including the legendary Skeleton Curse! You’ll need to level up your Allegiance with the Servants of the Flame to unlock every cosmetic available!
How to earn Allegiance
You must first join the Servants of the Flame Faction from your Captain’s Cabin to earn Allegiance for them. You can only raise Allegiance by joining their Faction and opting into fights with the Guardians of Fortune.
Once you have pledged your Allegiance to the Servants of the Flame, you can start raising it by:
- Fighting Guardian of Fortune ships
- Turning in your Faction Stash Grade at an Outpost
- Cashing out your Hourglass of Fate at an Outpost
You can boost the Allegiance you earn from fighting ships by raising your Streak, defeating opposing ships with a high Streak, and your Faction Stash Grade.
Fighting Guardian of Fortune Ships
Fighting Guardian of Fortune ships guarantees you Allegiance, win or lose. As you might expect, you’ll earn much more Allegiance for winning a battle than losing. But, win or lose, you will have made some progress by fighting a Guardian of Fortune ship.
You won’t earn any Allegiance for sinking a crew representing the Servants of the Flame.
Each time you win a battle, you will increase your Allegiance Streak. Your Streak acts as a multiplier against the amount of Allegiance you earn from sinking a Guardian of Fortune ship. The higher your Streak, the higher the multiplier!
The Streak of the ship you sink can increase your Allegiance as well. The higher your opponent’s Streak, the more Allegiance you’ll earn.
Faction Stash Grade
Turning in your Faction Stash Grade also guarantees your Allegiance. However, this method of earning Allegiance is not the fastest way. The payout is low, even at the higher Grades.
Like the payout for leaving an Emissary with a leveled-up Emissary Grade, you will receive Allegiance for a leveled-up Faction Stash Grade.
To raise your Faction Stash Grade, you must collect treasure on your ship. Your Faction Stash Grade will grow with each piece of treasure you gather! Once you have at least Faction Stash Grade 1, you can go to an Outpost and stop fighting for the Servants of the Flame. As soon as you are no longer with the Faction, you will earn your Allegiance.
To truly take advantage of your Faction Stash Grade, you’ll want to defend your ship from a Guardian of Fortune ship. Your Faction Stash Grade multiplies the Allegiance you earn from sinking an opponent. The higher your Faction Stash Grade, the greater the multiplier!
Hourglass of Fate
Leaving the fight at any Outpost after earning some Hourglass Value will award you with Allegiance for the Servants of the Flame. You would have some Hourglass Value with even one fight, so you could cash out immediately after a win if you were nervous about sinking and losing your progress.
