Captain Flameheart has locked his most prized paintings inside the heavily fortified Royal Crest Fortress. To successfully break into the Sea Fort and steal one of these paintings for the Smugglers’ League, you’ll need to collect the Royal Crest Fortress Key during The Smugglers’ Heist Voyage!
Royal Crest Fortress Key
You can only acquire the Royal Crest Fortress Key and open Royal Crest Fortress during The Smugglers’ Heist Voyage.
During the first Chapter of the Voyage, you must collect the key from a Smugglers’ League Representative. If you are the first one to start the shared Competitive Voyage, the key will be with the closest Smugglers’ League Representative. However, if another crew started the Voyage before you, the key will most likely be closer to them.
It is also possible for another crew to collect the key before you do. If that happens, you will receive a notification that another crew has the key. You can then track the key by its unique marker on the Map Table or head straight to Royal Crest Fortress and wait for the key to arrive.
To open Royal Crest Fortress, you or another crew can use the key on the main door to the fortress. Once inside, you can begin to hunt for the specific painting required by the Smugglers’ League.
