The once long-forgotten Legendary Bone Hunter Jacket has returned! Old salts to the Sea of Thieves might remember seeing it hung neatly on a mannequin inside a Clothing Shop years ago. However, instead of being used as window dressing, you can now unlock and wear the legendary jacket! Unfortunately, acquiring the highly-anticipated will be a challenging feat!
How to get the Legendary Bone Hunter Jacket
You must be a Pirate Legend and reach Renown level 100 during Season 9 to unlock the Legendary Bone Hunter Jacket.
If you reach Pirate Legend after reaching Renown Level 100, you will immediately unlock the jacket and all the previous Pirate Legend cosmetics.
Reaching Renown Level 100 will also earn you the Scar of the Gilded Age! In addition, if you have the Season 9 Plunder Pass, you will also acquire the Collector’s Sting Tide Sails.
How do you raise your Renown Level?
There are four main ways of raising your Renown level:
- Completing repeatable Renown actions
- Completing Deeds and Trials
- Completing challenges from Special Events
- Completing Deeds from Adventures

Just be sure you reach Renown Level 100 before the Season ends, and the Legendary Bone Hunter Jacket is no longer attainable. It’s very rare for Seasonal cosmetics to return, and if they do, they are usually harder to acquire the second time around.
