While you could decorate your ship and weapons in the beautiful blue and gold Fates of Fortune cosmetics, you can now wear the Fates of Fortune proudly on your pirate! Season Ten has introduced a new Fates of Fortune Vanity Set for your pirate to adorn! If your pirate needs a fresh hook, pegleg, tattoo, or eyepatch, you’ll want to track down some more Reaper’s Chests!
Fates of Fortune Vanity Set
To unlock the Fates of Fortune Vanity Set, you must complete the ‘Reaper’s Riches’ commendation. However, there are only two Grades to achieve right now, with more Grades planned for future Seasons. Since you can only reach Grade II, you can unlock only four pieces from the set: the Hook, Pegleg, Tattoo, and Eyepatch.
As future Seasons release, the Grade for the commendation will increase, and more cosmetics from the Fates of Fortune Vanity Set will be available to earn.
Fates of Fortune Fates of Fortune Hook, Pegleg, Tattoo, and Eyepatch
You must complete Grade II of the ‘Reaper’s Riches’ commendation to unlock the Fates of Fortune Hook, Pegleg, Tattoo, and Eyepatch.
As soon as you complete Grade II, you will unlock the vanity cosmetics and can purchase them from any Clothing shopkeeper.
Reaper's Riches Grade II
You must hand in 60 Reaper’s Chests or Reaper’s Bounties to The Reaper’s Bones to complete Reaper’s Riches Grade II. Chests from Shipwrecks and the Fort of the Damned will count.
Reaper's Chest and Reaper's Bounty
Reaper’s Chests and Reaper’s Bounties are rare and extremely valuable treasure chests that constantly relay their position to every pirate on the sea. Both chests can randomly spawn in Shipwrecks. You can find them in the hull, on the deck, in the crow’s nest, and even behind the Captain’s Cabin.
Reaper’s Chests and Reaper’s Bounties are also guaranteed to spawn inside a Fort of the Damned vault if you are not having any luck finding them in Shipwrecks.
You can quickly check if there are any chests to collect by scanning the horizon and looking for bright swirling pillars of light. The Reaper’s Chest will constantly emit a red and green pillar of light, while the Reaper’s Bounty will continuously emit a gold pillar of light.
If you want to be thorough in your search, you can also look over your Map Table for a distinct marker. For example, a red Reaper’s Mark map marker represents a Reaper’s Chest, and a gold Reaper’s Mark map marker represents a Reaper’s Bounty.
When the Reaper’s Chest or Reaper’s Bounty moves, so will the pillars of light projecting from the chest and the marker on the map, making it easy to follow.
As soon as you collect one, you’ll want to head straight to The Reaper’s Hideout and turn it into the Servant of the Flame.
