One of the many commendations you can complete during the Captains of the Damned Tall Tale is the Strike Yer Colours! commendation.
You can start working on the commendation once you arrive in the town of Isla Tesoro during this Tall Tale. You will first have to travel through the Bayou and past the Fort of Lost Souls to get here.

If you are just looking to complete Strike Yer Colours!, your first step is to arrive at the town of Isla Tesoro!
Arrive at Isla Tesoro
After sailing through the large watery cave from the Fort of Lost Souls, you will arrive at the town of Isla Tesoro. It is currently under siege from a ghost ship, the Wicked Wench!
Sail forward and dock your ship at the wooden dock to the right.
Climb Up Town Walls to Cannons
Jump off your ship and onto the dock. Looking towards the town, you will see two possible paths. One path to the right which takes you into the town, and one path on the left that will take you to the cannons you need for the commendation.
Head left and climb up the stone stairs to the top of the town walls.
Gather Cannonballs
As soon as you reach the top turn right and you’ll see a group of ghosts near several cannons. You will also see a Cannonball Barrel. Walk up to it, grab a few cannonballs, and prepare to return fire!
Fire Cannonball at Ghost Ship
With cannonball in hand, walk up to the cannon right next to the Cannonball Barrel and load it up with a cannonball.
Aim for the ghost ship in the harbor and fire away! Your first direct hit of the ghost ship will unlock the commendation.
If you don’t unlock the commendation right away, try shooting a few more cannonballs.
If you still don’t unlock the commendation and are in a crew, you might have to make sure every crew member shoots the ghost ship with the cannon on the town wall.
