One of the many commendations you can complete while you plunder the Ancient Temples below Skeleton Camps is the ‘Orber of Souls’ commendation.

To complete the commendation, you must sell Orbs of Secrets.

Completing the ‘Orber of Souls’ commendation will unlock the Cracked Orb Lantern. Once you’ve unlocked the cosmetic, you can purchase it from any Equipment Shop.

Orber of Secrets

To complete the ‘Orber of Secrets’ commendation you must sell 30 Orbs of Secrets.

The Orb of Secrets is a highly sought-after artifact that holds Ancient Knowledge.

You can only find the Orb of Secrets inside the Temple Crypts of Ancient Temples below Skeleton Camps. However, the Temple Crypts that hold the Orb of Secrets are locked. To open them, you must complete the Constellation Puzzle that protects the orb.

Once you complete the Constellation Puzzle, you’ll either gain access to the Temple Crypt or have to dispatch waves of Obsidian Skeletons before gaining access.

The Orb of Secrets is inside the Temple Crypt, sitting on an altar.

You must sail to Skeleton Camps to get the Orb of Secrets. Diving to them will reward you with Trading Company treasure like other Trading Company Raid Voyages.

Solved Constellation Puzzle

After gaining access to the orb, you can pick it up like a piece of treasure and sell it to a Trading Company. The Orb of Secrets is worth 20,000 Gold. You can sell it to the Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, Merchant Alliance, and Reaper’s Bones. However, you can’t sell it to the Mysterious Stranger as the Pirate Lord is not seeking the orb.

If you are sailing as the crew of the Burning Blade, you won’t be able to pick up the Orb of Secrets and sell it. You can only complete the Ritual and add the Ancient Knowledge inside the Orb of Secrets to the Burning Blade.
