One of the many commendations you can complete during The Quest for Guybrush Tall Tale is the ‘Memoirs of a Legend, Vol. II’ commendation. You can start working on the commendation when you clear the fog from Mêlée Island.

If you are just looking to complete ‘Memoirs of a Legend, Vol. II’ and take in the view at all memoir spots, your first step is to work with Corina to clear the fog covering Mêlée Island! After you remove the fog, you can access the five journals.
Memoir Spot #1
You can find a memoir spot at Stan’s Previously Owned Vessels. Just in front of Stan’s Office is a barrel near an inkwell you can sit on. Sit on the barrel to take in the view at this memoir spot.
Memoir Spot #2
You can find a memoir spot just outside of Captain Smirk’s house. A rock and inkwell is next to the large tree by the wooden sign. Sit on the rock to take in the view at this memoir spot.
Memoir Spot #3
You can find a memoir spot inside Captain Smirk’s house. You can enter his house after you present him with the Mighty Pirate Sword. In the corner of his house is a chicken crate and inkwell. Sit on the chicken crate to take in the view at this memoir spot.
Memoir Spot #4
You can find a memoir spot in front of the Hook Island sign. Just in front of the lit sign is a rock and inkwell. Sit on the rock to take in the view at this memoir spot.
Memoir Spot #5
You can find a memoir spot inside Meathook’s house on Hook Island. Just across from Meathook is a barrel and inkwell. Sit on the barrel to take in the view at this memoir spot.
Memoir Spot #6
You can find a memoir spot near the Troll Toll Bridge. On the North East side of the bridge is a barrel and inkwell. Sit on the barrel to take in the view at this memoir spot.
Memoir Spot #7
You can find a memoir spot on the path leading to the Circus. As you approach the Circus, you’ll see a rock and inkwell overlooking the circus tents on your left. Sit on the rock to take in the view at this memoir spot.
Memoir Spot #8
You can find a memoir spot inside the Circus. On the far East side of the circus tent is a red barrel and an inkwell. Sit on the red barrel to take in thew at this memoir spot.
Memoir Spot #9
You can find a memoir spot in the Forest. A rock next to an inkwell is at the end of the Forest, next to the wooden sign. Sit on the rock to take in the view at this memoir spot.
Memoir Spot #10

You can find a memoir spot near Carla’s House. A large stack of rocks with a wooden bench and inkwell just before the small bridge to the house. Sit on the wooden bench to take in the view at this memoir spot.
