If you are just looking to complete ‘Groggy Dog Story’ and hear everything Spiffy has to say, your first step is to make your way to Mêlée Island!
Hear everything Spiffy has to say
You can hear four of the six things Spiffy has to say when you arrive on Mêlée Island. Go to the Scumm Bar and walk to the back near the Pirate Leaders. You’ll find Spiffy just to the left of them with a Femur Bone in his mouth.
Approach Spiffy and talk to him. Select all four dialogue options to hear four things he has to say. To unlock the fifth thing Spiffy can say, you’ll need to collect at least 105 Pieces o’ Eight. You’ll need 45 to purchase the Chef’s Uniform to access more Pieces o’ Eight. Once you find 60 more pieces, you can purchase the Cute Monkey Toy from Citizen and give it to Spiffy to hear more.
Switch Cute Monkey Toy for Femur Bone
After you switch the Cute Monkey Toy for the Femur Bone, talk to Spiffy again. He will have one new dialogue option allowing you to hear the fifth thing he has to say.
To hear the sixth and final thing Spiffy has to say, you’ll need to defeat LeChuck’s Ghost Pirates and open the door to the International House of Mojo.
Speak to Spiffy after finding Corina
Once you open the International House of Mojo door, put a Root Beer Bottle in the cauldron to make Corina appear. Don’t talk to Corina and ask her to leave without speaking to Spiffy again!
Leave the Internal House of Mojo and find Spiffy in Scumm Bar. Talk to him again and choose the new dialogue option to complete the commendation.
