Season 9 introduced two new commendations for cutthroat pirates to overcome. One of these commendations, Fortune’s Favour, has pirates selling Chests of Fortune to The Gold Hoarders. Unfortunately, while selling a chest might sound easy enough, getting a Chest of Fortune is no small task!

Fortune's Favour

The Fortune’s Favour commendation has only one Grade to achieve, with more Grades added in future Seasons. Therefore, as future Seasons release, the Grade for Fortune’s Favour and the number of chests you’ll need to sell will increase.

Fortune's Favour Commendation

Fortune's Favour Grade 1

You must hand in 30 Chests of Fortune to The Gold Hoarders to complete Grade 1 of the Fortune’s Favour commendation.

As soon as you hand in your 30th chest to The Gold Hoarders, you will complete the commendation and unlock the Fates of Fortune Figurehead, Hull, and Sails.

How to find a Chest of Fortune

You can currently find a Chest of Fortune inside the vault of a Fort of Fortune. Expect the chest to move to a new location in future Seasons.
