One of the many commendations you can complete as sail the sea is the Critical Roll commendation.
To complete this commendation, you must roll a natural 20 using the Roll a D20 Emote. To do this, you will first need to unlock the Rolling Dice emotes.

To complete this commendation, you will first need to unlock the Rolling Dice emotes.
To unlock these emotes, you will need to reach Renown Level 5 during Season Five. Reaching Level 5 will give you access to six emotes that use dice to roll random numbers.
Once you have your dice emotes, go to your Vanity Chest on your ship and equip the Roll a D20 Emote.
After you have equipped the emote, keep activating it until your pirate roles a 20! Eventually, you will get lucky, and your die will land with 20 face-up!
There’s no real trick to this commendation. Just make sure you use the Roll a D20 to have a chance of rolling a 20.
