One of the many commendations you can complete while you raid the Ancient Temples below Skeleton Camps is the ‘Contended Constellations’ commendation.
To complete the commendation, you must stop Rituals as an Emissary other than the Reaper’s Bones.
Progressing through the ‘Contended Constellations’ commendation will unlock various Obsidian Bone Crusher clothing cosmetics. Once you’ve unlocked the cosmetics, you can purchase them from any Clothing Shop.
Contended Constellations
To complete the ‘Contended Constellations’ commendation, you must stop Rituals as any Emissary other than the Reaper’s Bones. Stopping a Ritual without raising an Emissary Flag will not count towards the commendation. You also won’t receive credit for interacting with the Ritual as the crew of the Burning Blade, as you are automatically a Reaper’s Bones Emissary when sailing Captain Flameheart’s flagship.
Become an Emissary
To become an Emissary, you must first purchase an Emissary License from the Trading Company for which you want to be an Emissary. You can buy it from any Trading Company representative in their Company Store once you reach Reputation Level 15 for that Trading Company.
Once you have your Emissary License, you can vote to become an Emissary at the Emissary Table next to the Trading Company Representative.
So, if you want to stop a Ritual as an Order of Souls Emissary, you would first purchase the Order of Souls Emissary License from an Order of Souls Representative. Then, you would vote on the Order of Souls Emissary Table next to the representative.
Now that you are an Emissary, it’s time to stop a Ritual.
Stop a Ritual
To stop a Ritual, you must interact with the Orb of Secrets from an Ancient Temple below a Skeleton Camp. However, a locked Temple Crypt protects the Orb of Secrets. To open the crypt, you must solve a Constellation Puzzle.
After you solve the puzzle, you will defeat waves of Obsidian Skeletons guarding the crypt. Dispatch of those skeletons and the crypt will open, revealing the Orb of Secrets. Interact with the orb to stop the Ritual. As a bonus, you can take and sell the Orb of Secrets to a Trading Company for 20,000 Gold!
