As you sail the sea, you are bound to discover a wide variety of treasures, including chests, skulls, and crates. Without being a Captain or dealing with the Reaper’s Bones, you’ll need to sell each type of treasure to a specific Trading Company. For instance, you can’t sell a Captain’s Chest to the Merchant Alliance just as you can’t sell a Fruit Crate to the Gold Hoards. So, where do you sell skulls?
Where do you sell skulls?
You can sell skulls to the Order of Souls Trading Company stationed at every Outpost. Specifically, you can find an Order of Souls representative on the bottom floor of a two-story structure covered in purple cloth.
Once you’ve spotted the building, head inside and approach the women behind the table. Then, with your skull in hand, interact with them to sell it in return for some precious gold.
Of course, if you don’t care to raise your Order of Souls reputation, you can sell any skull in the Sea of Thieves to the Reaper’s Bones. Also, if you are a Captain, you can sell your skulls to The Sovereigns at any Outpost.
The only skulls you cannot sell to the Order of Souls are Skulls of Ancient Fortune, Villainous Skulls of Ancient Fortune, and Ritual Skulls. Instead, you must sell the Ancient Skulls to the Athena’s Fortune and the Ritual Skulls to the Reaper’s Bones over at The Reaper’s Hideout.
