The Smugglers’ League has a wide assortment of unique treasures that you can help deliver across the Sea of Thieves. One of these special pieces of cargo is the Refined Painting.
Each Refined Painting you find and successfully sell to the Smugglers’ League will count toward the Runner of Refined Paintings Commendation. Completing that Commendation as well as several related Commendations will unlock unique Smugglers’ League Trinkets for you to adorn on your very own vessel!
Refined Painting
You can find Refined Paintings during the Smugglers’ Route Run Voyage. You will always receive a Refined Painting from the first Smugglers’ League representative you meet while progressing the Voyage.
Unlike Black Powder Barrels and Crates of Rum, Refined Paintings do not take damage, so you don’t need to be too careful with them.
Sell a Refined Painting to the Smugglers’ League to progress the Runner of Refined Paintings Commendation.
If you are looking for Classic or Exquisite Paintings, you’ll need to search Smugglers’ Caches, Smugglers’ Shipwrecks, and emergent Skeleton Ships. Unlike the Refined Painting which you get from the Smugglers’ Route Run Voyage, you can only find Classic and Exquisite Paintings emergently.
