The Smugglers’ League has a wide assortment of unique treasures that you can help deliver across the Sea of Thieves. One of these special pieces of cargo is the Crate of Dark Remise Rum.
Each Crate of Dark Demise Rum you find and successfully sell to the Smugglers’ League will count toward the Dealer of Dark Demise Commendation. Completing that Commendation as well as several related Commendations will unlock unique Smugglers’ League Trinkets for you to adorn on your very own vessel!
Crate of Dark Demise Rum
You can find Crates of Dark Demise Rum during the Smugglers’ Route Run Voyage. You will always receive a Crate of Dark Demise Rum from the first Smugglers’ League representative you meet while progressing the Voyage.
Like all Crates of Rum, Crates of Dark Demise Rum can take damage from weapons, Cannonballs, and explosions. Most importantly, they can take fall damage, even when you are holding them.
When you deliver the Crates of Rum to the Smugglers’ League, you’ll need to make sure you don’t jump or fall a great distance while holding them.
Sell a Crate of Dark Demise Rum in perfect condition to the Smugglers’ League to progress the Dealer of Dark Demise Commendation.
If you are looking for Crates of Floral Fate Rum or Golden Green Rum, you’ll need to search Smugglers’ Caches and Smugglers’ Shipwrecks. Unlike the Crate of Dark Demise Rum which you get from the Smugglers’ Route Run Voyage, you can only find Crates of Floral Fate Rum and Golden Green Rum emergently.
