Cracking open a Sanctuary of the Banished is no easy feat, so you’ll want to make your daring efforts worthwhile. To plunder every piece of treasure from the chamber, you’ll need a couple of Ashen Keys. Inside are locked compartments that store even more Banished Ancient Treasure! However, each one requires an Ashen Key to open.
Ashen Keys
There are several ways to find Ashen Keys. While you will mainly discover them from emergent Ashen Guardians you encounter randomly as you explore islands, there are ways to guarantee acquiring one.
You can find Ashen Keys by defeating:
- Ashen Key Masters during a Skeleton Fort World Event
- Emergent Ashen Guardians on islands
- Captain Skeleton Ships on the final wave of a Skeleton Fleet World Event
There is also a very low chance that you can catch one with your Fishing Rod while not using bait.
Once you have an Ashen Key, defeat an Eternal Guard, open a Sanctuary of the Banished, and enjoy the additional treasure!
