During your adventures through the Sea of Thieves you might come across a mysterious chest that emits a red and green beacon into the sky. This cursed chest, the Reaper’s Chest, is worth a fair amount Doubloons if you sell it to the right Trading Company.
Where can you sell the Reaper's Chest?
You can sell a Reaper’s Chest to the Servant of the Flame on The Reaper’s Hideout at the map coordinates I12.
Unfortunately, the Servant of the Flame is the only person you can sell the chest to since the Reaper’s Bones is the only Trading Company that accepts the chest. That means that you can’t sell the Reaper’s Chest at any Outpost. And you can’t sell the Reaper’s Chest to the Sovereigns.
When you sell the Reaper’s Chest, you will receive 25 Doubloons. Selling Reaper’s Chests will complete commendations, including the Reaper’s Riches commendation. Completing Grades in the Reaper’s Riches commendation will unlock the elusive Fortune’s Favour cosmetics!
