One of the many puzzles you’ll need to solve during The Lair of LeChuck Tall Tale is unlocking the Storage Cache. To do so, you’ll need to acquire the Storage Cache Key, which Herman has carefully hidden in the jungle. While finding the key might sound challenging, it’s easier than you think if you pick up Herman’s Note first!
Where is the Supply Cache Key?
Herman has hidden the Supply Cache Key in the jungle North of Herman’s Camp. You’ll first want to pick up Herman’s Note from his camp to find it. The note is sitting on a crate across from Herman.
You will add the note to your Quest Book as soon as you pick it up. Equip your Quest Book and flip to the “Even More Jobs!” page to discover that Herman hid the Supply Cache Key in one of the four wooden carvings around the jungle. You must inspect each wooden carving until you find the Supply Cache Key.
Inspect Pig Animal Carving
From Herman’s Camp, head North and cross the bridge over the Ravine. Once you reach the other side, turn left and walk until you reach the Pig Animal Carving on your right. Open it up to check if the Supply Cache Key is inside. If it is, you can now open up the Supply Cache at the bottom of the Ravine.
Inspect Parrot Animal Carving
You’ll need to keep going if you don’t find the key. Take the path just after the Pig to the right. You’ll eventually come to a pointing stone monkey statue and a Parrot Animal Carving. Interact with the Parrot to check if the key is inside. If it is, you can open up the Supply Cache.
Inspect Monkey Animal Carving
If you still need to find the key, continue and take the path just after the Parrot to the right. You’ll come to another pointing stone monkey statue. Go right, and you’ll come to another pointing stone monkey statue. Follow this monkey statue’s directions and go left. You’ll walk right into the Monkey Animal Carving. Open up the Monkey to look for the key. Pick it up and open up the Supply Cache if you find it.
Inspect Chicken Animal Carving
If you are still missing the key, face South East from the Monkey Animal Carving and walk South East. Follow the path to a fork and go right. You’ll walk right into the last Animal Carving, a Chicken. Interact with it to find the key.
With the Supply Cache Key in hand, you can now open the Supply Cache!
