One of the many puzzles you’ll need to solve during The Journey to Mêlée Island Tall Tale is how to free Otis. To free Otis, you must get the pair of Gunpowder Gummies from Walt and Gunpowder Fuses. Combining both, you can break Otis out of Jail, release him, and collect his cellmate, Captain Coco.
What do you do with the Gunpower Gummies?
You can use the Gunpowder Gummies to free Otis from Jail.
Once you’ve dispatched Walt with the piranha poodles in the Alley, you can pick up his Gunpowder Gummies. Once you have his Gunpowder Gummies, carry them from the Alley to the Jail. Approach each cell lock while holding the Gunpowder Gummies, and you can place one in each cell lock. Now that you have primed each cell lock to explode, you need the Gunpowder Fuses!
You can purchase them from the General Store for 70 Pieces o’ Eight if you still need to own them.
While holding the Gunpowder Fuess, approach each cell lock again and place one inside. The fuses will unfurl on the floor, allowing you to ignite them with your lantern!
Raise your lantern near the end of a fuse and ignite it. The fuse will burn until it sets off the Gunpowder Gummy, busting down the cell door!
