While the Trading Company representatives on every Outpost will no longer sell you voyages, you will still need to meet with them to progress your Sea of Thieves journey. Most importantly, you’ll want to check in with them from time to time to purchase unique cosmetics exclusive to the Trading Companies from the Trading Company Shops!
Trading Company Shops
To access a Trading Company Shop, approach the Trading Company representative you want to find the shop for. Then, instead of talking to them, choose to open the Trading Company shop.
For example, if you approach Madame Olivia on Plunder Outpost, select the ‘Open Order of Souls Shop’ to visit the Order of Souls Trading Company shop.
After opening the shop, you can select:
- Promotions – Claim Promotions to unlock new voyages on your Quest Table
- Company Shop – Purchase all Trading Company-themed cosmetics
- Commendations – View Commendations for that Trading Company
- Emissary – View the Emissary Ledgers for that Trading Company
Choose Company Shop to find all the Order of Souls-specific cosmetics you can purchase! You’ll discover Order of Souls Clothing, Ship Customizations, Weapons, Equipment, and Rings of Distinction!
Rings of Distinction
You can earn Rings of Distinction for Distinction you reach. For every 100 Reputation Levels you earn in a Trading Company, you will earn a Distinction and unlock another Ring of Distinction you can purchase from the Company Shop. There are five Distinctions, meaning you can buy five Rings of Distinction.
