The Smugglers’ League has its sights set on one of Captain Flameheart’s most treasured paintings. But claiming the painting is no simple task, as Flameheart has locked it away inside the fortified Royal Crest Fortress.
To guarantee the success of this high-stakes heist, the Smugglers’ League is calling upon daring crews to take part in the Smugglers’ Heist Event.
What is the Smugglers' Heist Event?
During the Smugglers’ Heist Event, you can embark on the time-limited Smugglers’ Heist Voyage, complete six Deeds for Act 2 of Season 17, and unlock two event-exclusive rewards!
The Smugglers’ Heist is a multi-chapter Competitive Voyage that will have you racing against other crews to steal a high-value painting from Royal Crest Fortress and deliver it to the Smugglers’ League.
To unlock the first reward, the Royal Crest Fortress Plans Trinket, you must opt in to the Smugglers’ Heist Voyage and see it through to completion. Your crew doesn’t have to be the one to sell the painting to complete the Voyage. Another crew you are competing against can sell the painting to end the Voyage, and you will receive credit for taking part and unlock the reward.
To unlock the second reward, the Royal Crest Fortress Blueprints Trinket, you must complete all six time-limited Deeds for Act 2 of Season 17. You’ll find that each Deed involves The Smugglers’ Heist Voyage. The Deeds for Act 2 include:
- Opt in to the Smugglers’ Heist Voyage and see it through to completion
- Collect the Royal Fortress Key from a Smuggler
- Unlock the doors to the Royal Crest Fortress
- Defeat a Skeleton Captain on Royal Crest Fortress
- Steal and sell a Collector’s Painting from Royal Crest Fortress that isn’t the Target Painting
- Win The Smugglers’ Heist Voyage by selling the Target Painting
You don’t have to complete all the Deeds during a single Smugglers’ Heist Voyage. While you will likely achieve most of them in a single run, you can make multiple attempts to complete them all.
The Smugglers’ Heist Event will be active from September 18th to October 16th. Once the Event ends, you won’t be able to work on the Deeds for Act 2 or unlock the two rewards.
The Smugglers' Heist Voyage
You can only start The Smugglers’ Heist Voyage when it becomes active on your server. Like World Events, the Voyage is on a timed schedule, and you’ll need to wait for it to activate.
When the Smugglers’ Heist Voyage becomes active, a note from the Smugglers’ League will appear on your ship’s main mast. The same note will also appear on every other crew’s main mast.
Interact with the note to accept The Smugglers’ Heist Voyage! If you need any help or are looking for a walkthrough, be sure to check out our dedicated Voyage guide here!
