With the Dark Brethren’s wicked plans temporarily thwarted, Flameheart and his servants continue to move forward with their own devious plans for the Sea of Thieves.

Instead of waiting for Flameheart’s next move, Belle has decided to pursue powerful relics concealed within the Sunken Kingdom. Hopefully, these relics will provide the upper hand we need in the inevitable battle against Flameheart.

However, obtaining these relics is no easy task. Belle will need your help retrieving them from the perilous Siren Shrines where they reside. Luckily, you’ll have some assistance from ancient allies along the way.

To embark on your Adventure, speak with Larinna. She will send you on your way with everything you need to know to get started!

How to complete The Sirens' Prize Adventure

To complete The Sirens’ Prize Adventure, you must first retrieve three relics of the past. Then, with the relics reunited, you must perform an ancient ritual that will free the soul of a powerful ally. Once the ritual is complete, speak to the Ancient Priest to complete the Adventure and unlock the Sails of the Ancient Warrior.

To earn the Warrior of the Ancients title, you’ll need to complete all eight Deeds for the Adventure. You can see the eight Deeds and your progress towards them in the Adventure Tab.

There are no Checkpoints for this Adventure, so you’ll need to complete each Chapter in one session.

The Sirens’ Prize Adventure will be available to all pirates from September 15th to September 29th, 2022. Unfortunately, after September 29th, you will not be able to partake in the Adventure and earn the two Mementos.

The Sirens' Prize: Step by Step

Step 1: Start The Sirens' Prize Adventure

To start The Sirens’ Prize Adventure, you’ll need to speak to Larinna at any active Outpost across the Sea of Thieves. You can find her just outside the Tavern.

Once you have found Larinna, speak with her. You’ll see several different dialogue options you can select. Choose the last option, BEGIN ADVENTURE, to let her know you want to check out what’s happening at Plunder Valley.

It’s important to note that you cannot start the Adventure if you are actively doing a Tall Tale. You can also cancel the Adventure if you need to via your ship’s Voyage Table like you would a voyage or Tall Tale.

As soon as you choose the BEGIN ADVENTURE option, you will begin Chapter One of the Adventure!

BEGIN ADVENTURE

Step 2: Investigate Plunder Valley

Larinna will tell you that there have been strange sightings on Plunder Valley. To discover the cause of this peculiar activity, you should head over as soon as possible!

Raise anchor and set sail for Plunder Valley. Dock your ship on the island’s East side near Belle’s buoy and make your way onto the East beach. You will find Belle surrounded by two Ancient Guards. Speak with Belle to complete Chapter One.

Step 3: Speak with Belle

Don’t leave Belle just yet! To start Chapter Two and continue the Adventure, speak with Belle again. Choose the CONTINUE ADVENTURE dialogue option to let Belle know you are ready to help her with her search. Belle will then fill you in on her dangerous quest!

When the Sirens claimed the Ancient’s sanctuaries for their Sunken Kingdom, they also claimed the various riches and secrets they held, including three Ancient relics of the past. These powerful relics may be the last hope of saving the Sea of Thieves!

Belle will then give you a checklist that tasks you with recovering the three relics. The Sirens have hidden each one in a different Shrine. To successfully retrieve one, you must find it and return it to the Ancient Priest stationed inside the Shrine. However, it won’t be as easy as it sounds! You will first need to fight through hordes of Ocean Crawlers and solve the intricate puzzles found within the Shrines.

While that might sound like a daunting task, don’t worry! You’ll have help from an Ancient Priest and his Ancient Warriors once inside the Shrines.

You can visit and retrieve the relics in any order. Each Shrine also has Ancient tablets scattered throughout them. You will want to find and read each to complete every Deed for the Adventure. The Ancient Priest will give clues to the tablet locations when you speak to him. We will also show you where each one is along the way!

With our checklist in hand, set sail for the Shrine of Ocean’s Fortune!

Checklist

Step 4: Venture into the Shrine of Ocean's Fortune

Sail to the Shrine of Ocean’s Fortune. Once your ship is above the Shrine in the swirling blue and purple lights, jump into the water and swim down!

Follow the swirling lights and bubbles down to the large wooden door on the North side of the Shrine. You can enter the Shrine through the large crack at the bottom of the door.

You will enter the Shrine on the bottom floor, the first of three that comprise the Shrine. You will need to use pulleys and anchors to position platforms to progress to the next floor where the relic is.

After swimming through the large wooden door, you’ll enter a chamber with a large stone pillar covered in coral in the middle of it. Walk to the right of it, hugging the chamber’s right side. You will eventually walk into a pile of wooden planks next to some tall white coral.

You will find a tablet in the pile of wooden planks. Read it, and you will have found your first tablet.

After you read the tablet, hop back into the water and swim around to the back of the pillar. You will find a wooden ladder that you must climb up.

Speak to Ancient Priest

As soon as you reach the top of the ladder, walk over the wooden bridge to your left, and you will see the Ancient Priest. Speak with him, and he will give you a new note from Belle outlining your objective in this Shrine: find the Dreams of the Ancients upon a read coral throne, then return them to him.

Step 5: Find the Dreams of the Ancients

The Dreams of the Ancients relic is on the middle floor of the Shrine, so you’ll need to ascend the bottom floor to reach it.

Lower Wooden Platform and Raise Anchor

After speaking to the Ancient Priest, follow the path to a pulley on a ledge surrounded by a shipwrecked hull and yellow coral.

Use that pulley to bring a wooden platform down to the jail cell door. You will use this platform to cross the gap preventing you from progressing.

Shrine of Ocean's Fortune platform pulley

Just above the jail cell door is another tablet, but we will need to move up through the Shrine a bit more so we can drop down onto it.

Jump across the newly created path with the platform you moved to arrive at an anchor. To the left of the anchor is a small chamber with a Sunken Merfolk Statue.

You’ll also find a coral lever to pull in the South West side of the small chamber that will open the jail cell door. Use it to open the door, as this will come in handy to get through this path later.

After pulling the coral lever, go back to the anchor and raise it to rotate two wooden platforms to create a path for you to jump across.

Shrine of Ocean's Fortune anchor

Lower Mast

Jump across the two platforms you just rotated with the anchor to access a path to the East. Once across, climb up a ladder and continue forward to a room with lots of treasure and a pulley.

As you walk to the room, look for a tablet on the ground to your left. It is sitting below a large branch of purple coral. Read the tablet, and you will have found two of the five hidden in this Shrine!

Interact with the pulley to lower a coral-covered mast in the main chamber of the Shrine.

Lower Anchor and Ride Wooden Platforms

After lowering the mast, backtrack to the anchor and return to the small chamber with the coral lever and statue.

On the North East side of the small chamber, opposite the coral lever, is a ladder. Climb up it to find another pulley. Use the pulley to raise the wooden platform you lowered earlier back to where it was.

Continue past the pulley to a mast beam leading to the platform you just raised.

Crossing the beam and jumping on the platform, you should be able to reach the coral-covered mast you lowered earlier. Hop onto the mast and walk into a room where you will fight some Coral Skeletons.

After you fight the Coral Skeletons, continue up the path, and you will walk over a wooden bridge. Stop on the bridge and look directly below you. You will see the tablet above the jail cell door. Hop down and read it.

After you read it, go back to where you were before you fell. Continue along the path, and you will find a second anchor. You need to lower the anchor and quickly jump on the wooden platform nearby. As the anchor slowly falls, the wooden platform will rotate forward.

As the platform rotates around, you will need to jump to another platform passing by to continue. Once the platforms have stopped moving, jump off and continue forward.

Make your way across the top of the chamber by platforming across the wooden beams until you reach a ladder. Climb the ladder, and you will have made it to the middle floor. The relic is just ahead!

Clear Middle Floor of Enemies

As soon as you enter the middle floor, you will find yourself in a room filled with Ocean Crawlers and Coral Skeletons. The relic is also in this room, sitting on the Coral Plinth where a Breath of the Sea can spawn.

With the help of the Ancient Warriors, clear the room of Ocean Crawlers and Coral Skeletons. You can now return the relic uninterrupted, but you’ll want to read the last two tablets before you do.

The fourth tablet is on the West side of this giant room under the Kraken spine.

To read the fifth and final tablet, you will need to visit the top floor of the Shrine briefly. To reach the top floor, climb through the path of wooden and coral platforms until you reach the middle floor’s exit on the North West side of the room.

Once on the top floor, walk towards the Siren Window barrier. You will find the fifth tablet lying on some rocks nearby.

After you read the fifth tablet, go back down to the middle floor, grab the relic, and backtrack to the bottom floor, where the Ancient Priest is.

The Dreams of the Ancients

Step 6: Deliver the Dreams of the Ancients to the Ancient Priest

Approach the Ancient Priest and hand him the relic. You will have successfully retrieved your first relic and crossed off one of Belle’s tasks from her checklist.

Step 7: Venture into the Shrine of Tribute

Once you arrive above the Shrine of Tribute, swim down and head to the East side of the Shrine.

As you swim down towards the East side of the Shrine, you will see a stone-circled staircase covered in bright coral. Swim towards the stairs. You’ll find that it leads to a locked stone door.

Entrance to Shrine of Tribute

Use the lever inside the staircase to lower the stone door blocking the entrance of the Shrine.

Swim West through the newly opened underwater tunnel and look down once you reach the tall chamber. Just below you is the first tablet of the Shrine. Read the tablet and continue to swim down.

At the bottom of the tall chamber is a Siren Statue Puzzle mural on the Eastside. You will need to solve the puzzle to retrieve the relic and read every tablet.

While we spoke to the Ancient Priest right away in the Shrine of Ocean’s Fortune, we will speak with the Ancient Priest later on in this Shrine.

Step 8: Find the Voice of the Ancients

To find the Voice of the Ancients, you must solve the Siren Statue Puzzle and raise the water level.

Learn the Siren Statue Puzzle mural and remember the following Siren Statue arm positions:

Chain Siren Statue = Low

Coral Siren Statue = Middle

Gem Siren Statue = High

The first Siren Statue we will find is the Gem Siren Statue.

Shrine of Tribute Siren Statue Puzzle Mural

Interact with the Gem Siren Statue

From the mural, face South and swim through the South path away from the room with the mural.

Turn right and head West down a long corridor. As you swim through this corridor, you will see a clump of glowing green coral to your right. The second tablet is on the floor, just at the base of the coral.

Keep swimming forward, and you will eventually come to a juncture with a stone statue with holes. This juncture has a path that leads left to the West and a path that leads straight to the North.

Shrine of Tribute Path to Gem Siren Statue

Swim down the left path to the West and then make a right. You will find the Gem Siren Statue here. Damage the statue until its arm is in the “High” position.

Shrine of Tribute Gem Siren Statue

Interact with the Coral Siren Statue

After positioning the Gem Siren Statue, swim back to the juncture with the small stone statue and make a left to continue along your original path to the North.

You will come to the Siren Statue with the conch in its hand that you must damage to enter the puzzle solution when ready. We will be back here in a minute, but for now, face South and enter a large throne chamber.

Shrine of Tribute Throne Room

A giant throne statue will be in the middle of this chamber. Swim behind it to the right, and you will see a crack in the wall surrounded by glowing red coral.

Shrine of Tribute path to Coral Statue

Swim through the crack, past the glowing green coral, and up the stairs into the room with air. You will find the Coral Siren Statue here. Damage it until it is in the “Middle” position.

Shrine of Tribute Coral Statue

Speak to Ancient Priest

Swim out from the room with the Coral Siren Statue and back into the throne chamber.

Next, you will want to walk up the staircase on either side of the chamber to find the Chain Siren Statue on the South East side of the room, placed out of the water. You will also see the Ancient Priest. Speak with him, and he will give you a new note from Belle outlining your objective in this Shrine: find the Voice of the Ancients held deep in this Shrine, then return it to him.

Interact with the Chain Siren Statue

Turn around and face the Chain Siren Statue. Damage it until it is in the “Low” position.

Shrine of Tribute Chain Statue

Raise Water Level

With the statues in their correct positions, you can now enter the solution.

Swim out of the throne chamber towards the large Siren Statue holding the conch. Damage it to enter the puzzle solution.

If the three Siren Statue arm positions are correct, this will cause the water level to rise.

With the water level raised, you can now access the third tablet just above the statue holding the conch, below a giant stone face.

Read the tablet and swim back into the throne room. Swim to the stairs high up to the East in the throne room but don’t climb them just yet.

There’s a tablet sitting on some coral to the left of the stairs. Read it, and you will have found four of the five tablets.

After you’ve read the tablet, head up the stairs that lead out of the water.

Raising the water level will also cause the Ancient Priest to relocate to the top of the chamber out of the water.

Move Throne Statue

Make your way up the stairs, and you will be at the throne chamber’s top. To move the throne statue, you must quickly step on three different floor switches found around the top level. You will find one to the East, one to the West, and one to the North.

Shrine of Tribute Floor Switch

To the West, you will find a room with treasure. There is also a floor switch in this room you will use in just a moment.

If you walk South, you will find a path to jump across the throne statue to the other side. Along this path, you will find another floor switch just before jumping over the throne statue.

Jump across the statue to find the third and final floor switch you need to use.

Step on all three floor switches quickly to move the throne statue and reveal a secret treasury! Unfortunately, it will also cause Sirens to spawn, which you’ll want to deal with before exploring the newly opened area.

Enter Secret Treasury

Swim down into the newly opened area and South towards the back with the large stone altar. You will find plenty of loot, the last tablet and the relic. Read the tablet in the far back corner and then pick up the relic that is sitting on the large stone alter.

You will need to return to the top of the throne chamber to find the Ancient Priest.

Voice of the Ancients

Step 9: Deliver the Voice of the Ancients to the Ancient Priest

Approach the Ancient Priest with the relic and hand it to him. You will have successfully retrieved the second relic and crossed off another one of Belle’s tasks.

Step 10: Venture into the Shrine of Ancient Tears

Once you arrive above the Shrine of Ancient Tears, swim down and head to the North side of the Shrine. Once you are at the base of the Shrine on the Northside, you’ll find the entrance blocked by a Siren Window. Damage the pink Coral Orb to open the Siren Window and head inside.

Once you pass through the Siren Window barrier, you’ll enter a small cavern.

Head to the southwest side of the room to find a hole in the ground. This hole drops into a coral staircase that leads down to a large chamber with ancient structures.

Speak to Ancient Priest

Hop down into the large chamber and climb the stone staircase to the southeast. You’ll find a ladder here as well as the Ancient Priest overlooking the pool. Speak with him, and he will give you a new note from Belle outlining your objective in this Shrine: find the Eyes of the Ancients, then return them to him. They lie in a shadowy chamber reached from the turtle’s hall.

Step 11: Find the Eyes of the Ancients

To find the Eyes of the Ancients, you must light every torch within the main chamber, the Butterfly hall, and the Turtle hall.

To start, you will want to drain the pool of water in the middle of the Shrine!

Drain Well

Face the nearby ladder and climb up it to find another ladder to climb up.

Platform around the chamber’s top until you reach the room high up to the West. Inside you will come across a painting of water and a lever. Pull the lever to drain the water from the well.

Shrine of Ancient Tears Ladder

You will also find your first tablet in this Shrine in the corner of this room. Read the tablet and exit the room.

Then, jump off the stone diving board into the well down below. After you land in the water, swim to the West to find a tablet sitting on a rock. Read the second tablet, then turn around to swim East to find a stone altar.

Light the four torches around the altar to open a path out of the well.

Use the newly opened path to climb back up to the main chamber where you were before.

Shrine of Ancient Tears Light Torch

Solve Floor Switch Puzzle

Once back in the main chamber, you’ll need to solve the Floor Switch Puzzle and light four torches.

A stone path with staircases runs along the chamber’s perimeter, making a large square. Walk around this path and light four torches at the corner of each side of the room.

Shrine of Ancient Tears Light Torch

You should also notice four floor switches on the ground near each of the torches with a symbol painted on it.

After lighting all four torches, run around the stone path, quickly stepping on the four floor switches. Having all four floor switches pressed simultaneously will open up the large stone door to the East on the second floor of the chamber, just left of the first ladder you climbed.

Shrine of Ancient Tears floor switch

Light Four More Torches

Head inside the room you just opened and light all four torches inside. You will now have lit the eight torches required to open up a large stone door to the West side of the main chamber.

Solve Butterfly Puzzle

Go through the doors you just opened and step into the North and South hallway. Along this hallway are three levers with Butterfly paintings next to them and three torches.

First, light the three torches along the hall. Lighting the three torches will ignite the Butterfly column in the room with the four symboled columns.

Next, you need to quickly interact with all three levers to open the Butterly stone door currently locked to the South. Interact with all three and walk through the newly opened door.

Shrine of Ancient Tears Crab Butterfly Lever

Solve Turtle Puzzle

In this next hall, you will need to find three Turtle levers. But first, light the six torches in this area to turn on the Turtle column back in the column room.

After lighting the six torches, interact with the three Turtle levers. Instead of opening one door to the next area, you will open two doors. One will lead East to the next puzzle corridor, and the other will lead to a small chamber with the relic!

Walk over to the chamber with the relic. You will find the third tablet near the door you just unlocked. Read the tablet and walk into the small chamber with the relic.

Before taking the relic, be sure to light the two torches here. That will give you eight torches to light in the Turtle corridor.

You can take the relic now and return it to the Ancient Priest. Or you could leave it here and come back for it after you have found the last two tablets.

Since we will find all the tablets, leave the relic for now, and head to the next hallway.

Eyes of the Ancients

Solve Parrot Puzzle

In this next hall, you will be interacting with Parrot levers. But first, light the four torches in this area.

You will also want to read the fourth tablet lying on the ground next to the pool of water.

After you lit the torches, it’s time to interact with the three levers. You can easily find two levers on the corridor walls, but the third is hidden in one of the secret compartments along the wall. You will need to step on a floor switch to reveal it!

The first floor switch you find in the Parrot chamber next, which is next to a Parrot lever, will open a secret compartment with a Parrot lever behind you. The compartment has a Parrot symbol above it.

Interact with all three levers to open the locked stone door.

First Hidden Parrot Lever

Solve Crab Puzzle

The next area is the Crab hall. Again, light all four torches, and you will be ready to interact with the levers.

This time, two floor switches will reveal two levers you need to use. There are a total of three levers.

The second floor switch in the corridor will reveal a lever, and the second to last floor switch will reveal a lever. There will be Crab symbols above the compartments that have the levers inside. Interact with all three to open the stone Crab door.

Once you have lit all the torches, a large stone door in the room with the four animal columns will open up.

Read fifth tablet

Head into the room with the four pillars for each animal symbol. You will see a new room to the West that you opened. The fifth and final tablet for the Shrine will be in the corner of the room. Read the tablet and head back to the Turtle corridor to grab the relic.

Step 12: Deliver the Eyes of the Ancients to the Ancient Priest

Approach the Ancient Priest with the relic and hand it to him. You will have successfully retrieved the third relic and crossed off Belle’s last task.

With all three relics retrieved and every task complete, it’s time to head back to Belle on Plunder Valley!

Step 13: Sail back to Plunder Valley

Return to Belle on the East shore of Plunder Valley. Speak with her to complete Chapter Two. Then, when you are ready, speak with her again and choose the COMPLETE ADVENTURE option to start the third Chapter of the Adventure.

Belle will send you to the island’s peak to defend the Ancients conducting the final ritual.

Step 14: Defeat the Soulflame Captain

Once you are at the island’s top, approach the Ancient Priest as he performs the ritual.

Before the Soulflame Captain will reveal himself, you must defeat several waves of Reaper Phantoms. With the Reaper Phantoms out of the way, the Soulflame Captain will ambush you with the sole objective of stopping the ceremony!

You will need to defeat the Soulflame Captain to complete the ritual. The Soulflame Captain is a formidable foe and will have much more health than a Skeleton Captain. No need to worry! You will have the help of Ancient Warriors!

Once the Soulflame Captain is dead, speak to the Ancient Priest to complete the adventure!

The Sirens' Prize Deeds

The Deeds for The Sirens’ Prize Adventure are more straightforward, and you will most likely unlock them all after only doing the Adventure once.

The Deeds you must complete to unlock the Warrior of the Ancients title are:

  • Investigate Plunder Valley
  • Find the Dreams of the Ancients
  • Find the Eyes of the Ancients
  • Find the Voice of the Ancients
  • Read tablets in the Shrine of Ocean’s Fortune
  • Read tablets in the Shrine of Ancient Tears
  • Read tablets in the Shrine of Tributes
  • Complete the Ritual
