What is the Chest of Fortune?
The Chest of Fortune is a high-value and very rare Gold Hoarder treasure chest. You can currently find the chest inside a Fort of Fortune vault. The Chest of Fortune is also the first of its kind!
Each Season the chest will move to a new location. So while the Chest of Fortune is at a Fort of the Damned during Season Ten, it could move to a completely different World Event or voyage in future Seasons!
Selling the Chest of Fortune to the Gold Hoarders will progress the Fortune’s Favour commendation. Completing Grade I of Fortune’s Favour will unlock the Fates of Fortune Ship cosmetics. As the chest moves, there will be more Grades to work on and cosmetics to unlock.
Where can you find the Chest of Fortune?
You can find the Chest of Fortune inside the hull of the Burning Blade! To retrieve the chest, you’ll need to defeat the Skeleton-Controlled Burning Blade and either sink it or take it over. You’ll find the chest on the lowest level of the hull in the brig.
Expect to see the Chest of Fortune move around in future Seasons as the Fortune’s Favour commendation receives more Grades and more items in the Fates of Fortune set are unlocked!
Who can you sell the Chest of Fortune to?
You can sell the Chest of Fortune to the Gold Hoarders or the Reaper’s Bones. However, you’ll want to sell it to the Gold Hoarders so you can progress on the Fortune’s Favour commendation and unlock the elusive Fates of Fortune Ship cosmetics!
