The Smugglers’ League has successfully smuggled their precious cargo into the Sea of Thieves. However, not all of their shipments made it to their intended destination. Some of their vessels, overcome by misfortune, now lie silent beneath the waves.
These sunken wrecks offer rare and lucrative opportunities for those willing to brave the depths in search of what remains of these doomed ventures.
Smugglers' Shipwrecks
Smugglers’ Shipwrecks contain an assortment of high-value Smugglers’ League treasure in addition to other treasure you would find in standard Shipwrecks.
The treasures you can find in a Smugglers’ Cache include standard Shipwreck treasure as well as:
- Black Powder Barrels
- Classic Painting
- Exquisite Painting
- Crates of Floral Fate Rum
- Crates of Golden Greed Rum
- Smugglers’ Chronicles
- Obsidian Ashen Winds Skulls
- Skulls of Siren Sorrow
Throughout Season 17, you’ll also find Reaper’s Bounties and Reaper’s Chests exclusively in Smugglers’ Shipwrecks. You won’t be able to acquire them from Forts of the Damned until Season 18.
Unlike standard Shipwrecks, Smugglers’ Shipwrecks have pockets of air bubbles for you to swim through and regain your oxygen. With the addition of air bubbles, you can easily explore and collect every piece of treasure inside the Shipwreck.
You can inspect each piece of treasure to determine where you must sell it. If it says you can deliver to a Smugglers’ League Representative, then you can sell it to any one of the six Smugglers’ League Representatives. However, if it gives you a specific name and island, you will have to deliver it at that particular Hideout.
