As an increasing number of ships transport valuable cargo for the Smugglers’ League, not all succeed in their voyage across the Sea of Thieves. The resulting wreckage from these ill-fated journeys has begun to wash ashore across various islands. Among the scattered debris, observant crews can recover the smuggled treasures and finish delivering them for a generous payout.
Smugglers' Cache
A Smugglers’ Cache is a collection of various treasures you can find on island shorelines. While you can only deliver most of the treasure in the Cache to the Smugglers’ League, you’ll also find other pieces of loot you can sell to the Trading Companies.
The treasures you can find in a Smugglers’ Cache include:
- Black Powder Barrels
- Classic Painting
- Exquisite Painting
- Crates of Floral Fate Rum
- Crates of Golden Greed Rum
- Smugglers’ Chronicles
- Obsidian Ashen Winds Skulls
- Horns of Fair Winds
- Skulls of Siren Sorrow
- Wood Crates
- Fruit Crates
Smugglers’ Caches have a high chance of appearing on small and large islands, so you can expect them to be less lucrative overall than all the treasure you can acquire from the much harder to find Smugglers’ Shipwrecks.
You can discover small, medium, and large Smugglers’ Caches. The size of the Cache determines the amount of treasure you’ll find.
You can inspect each piece of treasure to determine where you must sell it. If it says you can deliver to a Smugglers’ League Representative, then you can sell it to any one of the six Smugglers’ League Representatives. However, if it gives you a specific name and island, you will have to deliver it at that particular Hideout.
