Legends Week is back to honor all the devoted Pirate Legends out there sailing the Sea of Thieves! This time, the Event arrives alongside a Bilge Rats Weekender, which means you can pocket some Doubloons on top of earning boosted Athena’s Fortune rewards and finding Legendary Messages in Bottles!
What is the Legends Weekender Event?
During Legends Weekender, all pirates can earn boosted Gold and Reputation from any Athena’s Fortune treasure they sell to the Mysterious Stranger and the Sovereigns.
Every pirate can also find Legendary Messages in Bottles in shipwrecks and on island beaches across the sea.
Completing five Voyages from Legendary Messages in Bottles during the Legends Weekender will reward you with 300 Doubloons.
The Legends Weekender runs during the Bilge Rats Weekender Event runs from Friday, July 17th, 10am UTC to Monday, June 20th, 10am UTC.
Legendary Messages in Bottles
Legendary Messages in Bottles are purple bottles that can appear randomly in shipwrecks and on the shores of any island in the High Seas, excluding Outposts. You cannot find Legendary Messages in Bottles in Safer Seas.
The Legendary Messages in Bottles glint bright purple from a distance, making them easy to spot as you sail by islands or explore shorelines.
You don’t need to be a Pirate Legend to see or find one. Any pirate of any experience can collect a Legendary Message in a Bottle.
Each Legendary Message in a Bottle contains an “X Marks the Spot” Quest. However, unlike regular Messages in Bottles, the Legendary Message in a Bottle “X Marks the Spot” Quest will always lead you to Athena’s Fortune treasures. These treasures include:
