As Captain Flameheart builds a legion of unwavering followers, the Pirate Lord is mobilizing an army of his own. Enticing pirates with a variety of rewards for their efforts, the Pirate Lord hopes to repel Flameheart’s advances. However, Flameheart is also offering generous compensation for any pirate who fights in his name!
What is the Legends Unleashed Event?
Legends Unleashed is a two-week-long Event, split into two themed weeks: one dedicated to Athena’s Fortune, and the other to the Reaper’s Bones. During the Event, you can earn boosted Gold and Reputation, complete Daily Goals, discover Legendary Messages in Bottles, find Ashen Mega Stashes, and unlock two event-exclusive rewards!
To participate in either week, you’ll need to sail the High Seas!
Week One
During the first week of the Event, you can:
- Earn double Gold and Reputation for selling Athena’s Fortune treasure to the Mysterious Stranger and the Sovereigns
- Complete the first set of Daily Goals
- Discover Legendary Messages in Bottles
- Find Ashen Mega Stashes
- Unlock one of two event-exclusive rewards
Week One Daily Goals
The Daily Goals during the first week focus on Athena’s Fortune and are exclusive to Pirate Legends. Each Daily Goal will unlock one at a time throughout the week.
These Daily Goals range from selling Athena’s Fortune treasures to using a Skull of Destiny to start a Fort of the Damned.
Completing a Daily Goal will reward you with additional Gold and Athena’s Fortune Reputation.
Legendary Messages in Bottles
You can also randomly find Legendary Messages in Bottles on island beaches and inside shipwrecks while sailing the High Seas. Legendary Messages in a Bottle cannot appear in Safer Seas.
You don’t need to be a Pirate Legend to see or find one. Any pirate of any experience can collect a Legendary Message in a Bottle.
Each Legendary Message in a Bottle contains an “X Marks the Spot” Quest that will always lead you to Athena’s Fortune treasure!
Ashen Mega Stashes
While Mega Stashes are active, you can find fifteen Ashen Chests of Legends and six Gold Piles in the Vaults of active Skeleton Forts and Forts of Fortune. However, not every Vault you open will have a Mega Stash inside. Each Vault has a slight chance of holding a Mega Stash with the Ashen Chests of Legends. You’ll need to complete a Skeleton Fort and open its Vault to see if you lucked out!
It is important to note that emergent Forts you sail to will have a higher chance of rewarding you with a Mega Stash than On-Demand Skeleton Forts you dive to through your Quest Table. And while you can find them in Skeleton Forts and Forts of Fortunes, you cannot find Mega Stashes in the Vaults of a Fort of the Damned.
Week One Reward
Completing three Legendary Message in a Bottle Voyages will unlock the first event-exclusive reward, the Victory to the Fortunate Trinket!
Week Two
During the second week of the Event, you can:
- Earn double Gold and Reputation for selling Athena’s Fortune treasure to the Reaper’s Bones
- Earn ten times Gold and Reputation for selling Athena’s Fortune Emissary Flags to the Reaper’s Bones
- Complete the second set of Daily Goals
- Unlock the second event-exclusive reward
You can also continue to earn double Gold and Reputation for the Athena’s Fortune, work on the first week’s Daily Goals, discover Legendary Messages in Bottles, and find Ashen Mega Stashes.
Week Two Daily Goals
The second week’s Daily Goals focus on the Reaper’s Bones and will unlock one at a time throughout the week. Unlike the first week’s Daily Goals, any pirate of any status can complete them.
These Daily Goals range from selling selling Athena’s Fortune Emissary Flags to the Reaper’s Bones to taking on the Burning Blade.
Week Two Reward
As for the second event-exclusive reward, the Victory to the Flame Trinket, you can unlock it by selling three Athena’s Fortune treasures to the Reaper’s Bones.
Rewards
There are two Trinkets you can unlock during the Legends Unleashed Event.
You can unlock the first Trinket, Victory to the Fortunate, by completing three Legendary Message in a Bottle Voyages.
To unlock the second Trinket, Victory to the Flame, you must sell three Athena’s Fortune treasures to the Reaper’s Bones.
