Every gold-loving pirate’s favorite voyage is back, and it’s better than ever! Yes, Gilded Voyages have returned to the Sea of Thieves! While Gilded Voyages now reward more treasure, they are also more dangerous. With every Gilded Voyage directing pirates to the same region, you will likely cross paths with other pirates hoping to collect a massive pile of loot!
What is the Gilded Voyages Event?
The Gilded Voyages Event will have you embarking on Gilded Voyages across The Ancient Isles. If you complete just one Gilded Voyage, you will unlock the event-exclusive reward, the Seamark Tribute Tattoo! It’s okay if you sink during your Voyage or have your treasure stolen. You just need to finish each of the Quests for the Voyage in your Quest Radial to complete the Voyage and receive your tattoo!
While you only need to do one Gilded Voyage for the reward, you’ll want to tackle every Voyage offered, as they all will lead you to piles of expensive treasure!

What are Gilded Voyages?
Gilded Voyages are single-use, time-limited Voyages that offer high-value treasure for a specific Trading Company. Unlike previous Gilded Voyages, you can only start and complete them while the Event is active.
As before, there are four Gilded Voyages to choose from, including one for the Gold Hoarders, the Merchant Alliance, the Order of Souls, and, if you are a Pirate Legend, the Athena’s Fortune. You can do just one or all of them, but you can only do each once.
Each Gilded Voyage should take about an hour to complete and contains Quests limited to The Ancient Isles region. If you collect and sell every piece of treasure from a Gilded Voyage, you can expect to make about 150,000 Gold per Voyage, except the Athena’s Fortune variant, which rewards 200,000 Gold.
You can only start and experience in Gilded Voyages on the High Seas, so don’t expect to remove the risk associated with them by trying to do them in Safer Seas.
How do you get a Gilded Voyage?
You can start each of the available Gilded Voyages from the Quest Table. Once you open the Quest Table, select Voyages, Special Voyages, and Limited Voyages to find all four Gilded Voyages.

How long is the Gilded Voyages Event?
You can start any Gilded Voyage between May 16th and May 23rd (10:00 UTC). After May 23rd, the Gilded Voyages will disappear, and you’ll have to wait until they return.
