What is the Emissaries of Fortune Event?
During Emissaries of Fortune, you can earn an additional 40% reward multiplier per Grade, stacking on top of existing bonuses!
The Emissaries of Fortune Event runs for a full Wednesday (starting at 10am UTC) each week.
The bonus applies to every pirate who raises an Emissary Flag, no matter which Trading Company you represent. Raise your Emissary Grade, sell your loot before you lower the Flag, and you will see the boosted rewards.
The Emissaries of Fortune Event bonus adds 40% to the Gold you would already earn at your current Emissary Grade. Your Grade multiplier applies first, then the event bonus applies on top of that total.
For example, selling a Sapphire Mermaid Gem for 1,000 Gold will reward you with the following Gold during the Event:
- Grade 1: 1000 * 1 = 1000 + 40% = 1400
- Grade 2: 1000 * 1.3 = 1300 + 40% = 1862
- Grade 3: 1000 * 1.67 = 1670 + 40% = 2338
- Grade 4: 1000 * 2 = 2000 + 40% = 2800
- Grade 5: 1000 * 2.5 = 2500 + 40% = 3500
Stack the two bonuses together, and your effective multiplier climbs to 1.4x at Grade 1 and all the way to 3.5x at Grade 5.
You can earn the bonus for every Trading Company, including the Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, Merchant Alliance, Athena’s Fortune, Reaper’s Bones, and Hunter’s Call.
Pick the company that matches the loot you plan to gather, then sell everything at that company’s representative while your Flag still flies. Lower your Flag before you hand your loot in and you lose the Grade multiplier along with the event bonus
