Each Bilge Rats Weekender, Larinna will task pirates with the same set of five Challenges to work on. You only need to complete each Challenge once, and you can complete them in any order.

Completing each Challenge will reward you with 65 Doubloons, adding up to 325 Doubloons across all five, which you can put toward cosmetics in Larinna’s Black Market or Duke’s Smugglers’ Market.

You will automatically receive them in your Quest Radial upon entering the Sea of Thieves on the High Seas.

Below you’ll find the five Challenges for the Bilge Rats Weekender in October 2026.

Blow a shark out of the water by detonating a Gunpowder Barrel

To complete this Challenge, you will need to kill a shark with a Gunpowder Barrel.

First, head to the nearest inactive Skeleton Fort, where you can safely find dozens of Gunpowder Barrels. You can also find Gunpowder Barrels randomly on islands, in shipwrecks, and floating amongst Barrels of Plenty.

Once you have a Gunpowder Barrel, jump into the open water to attract a shark or two. When one appears, swim toward it holding the Gunpowder Barrel and ignite it. The explosion will easily kill the shark and award you 65 Doubloons.

Launch a firework using a Cannon of Rage from Thieves' Haven's highest point

To complete this Challenge, you will need to shoot a firework from a Cannon of Rage at the highest point of Thieves’ Haven.

You’ll need a firework and a Cannon of Rage before heading to Thieves’ Haven in The Ancient Isles.

You can randomly find fireworks in Resource Barrels across the sea. However, if you don’t feel like rummaging through barrels, you can also purchase fireworks directly from the Merchant Alliance.

As for Cannons of Rage, you are guaranteed to find one within the Vaults of emergent Skeleton Forts, the Forts of Fortune, and Forts of the Damned. You can also randomly find a Cannon of Rage in the Treasuries of Sea Forts or washed up on island beaches.

With a firework and the Cannon of Rage, set sail to Thieves’ Haven. Carry the Cannon of Rage up to the highest point on the South side of the island. It’s a peak that overlooks the southern sea. Deploy the Cannon of Rage, load it with the firework, and shoot it into the sky to receive 65 Doubloons.

Rule over Devil's Ridge by sitting on its Skeleton Throne

To complete this Challenge, you will need to sit on the Skeleton Throne on Devil’s Ridge in The Ancient Isles.

The Skeleton Throne on Devil’s Ridge is a small, single-crew throne, so you don’t need to coordinate with another crew to complete the Challenge.

You can find the throne below the highest peak on Devil’s Ridge that juts out to the North. You can cannon yourself from your ship or use the Grapple Gun to reach it.

Take the helm of another pirate's ship while mimicking one of its crew

To complete this Challenge, you will need to mimic a pirate from another crew and take the wheel on their ship.

First, equip the Blowpipe from your ship’s Armory and choose the Mimic Dart from the Dart Radial. With your Blowpipe equipped, you are ready to set sail on the hunt for another crew.

Once you find another ship, shoot a Mimic Dart at one of its crew to temporarily transform your appearance to impersonate them. You’ll know that you are actively under the effect of the Mimic Dart as a blue, glowing haze will border your vision. You can also see your mimicked appearance when you use an Emote.

With your mimic active, grab the wheel of their ship to earn your Doubloons.

Raise your tankard with 4 other pirates during a Bilge Rats Firework Display

To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to raise your tankard with four other pirates during a Bilge Rats Firework Display.

As you’ll need to raise a tankard with at least four other pirates, you’ll need to complete this Challenge with two or more crews, even if you are sailing on a Galleon.

Once you have four other pirates, wait for the Firework Display to start on an Outpost. Only one Firework Display occurs at a time, taking place at 9pm in-game. You can speak with Larinna to find out which Outpost will have the next Firework Display. Each Firework Display lasts three minutes, so you’ll have between 9pm and 12am in-game to vomit.

The schedule for the Firework Display is as follows:

  • Sanctuary Outpost
  • Port Merrick Outpost
  • Plunder Outpost
  • Ancient Spire Outpost
  • Dagger Tooth Outpost
  • Galleon’s Grave Outpost

As soon as the Firework Display begins, raise your tankard with the four other pirates to complete the Challenge and earn 65 Doubloons.
