Each Bilge Rats Weekender, Larinna will task pirates with the same set of five Challenges to work on. You only need to complete each Challenge once, and you can complete them in any order.
Completing each Challenge will reward you with 65 Doubloons, adding up to 325 Doubloons across all five, which you can put toward cosmetics in Larinna’s Black Market or Duke’s Smugglers’ Market.
You will automatically receive them in your Quest Radial upon entering the Sea of Thieves on the High Seas.
Below you’ll find the five Challenges for the Bilge Rats Weekender in August 2026.
Beat the rush and fire yourself at The Charred Parrot tavern's door from your ship
To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to fire yourself at The Charred Parrot tavern’s door from your ship.
You’ll first want to make your way to Morrow’s Peak Outpost in The Devil’s Roar, where you’ll find The Charred Parrot tavern. Dock your ship on the Southern side of the Outpost with your ship’s cannons facing the tavern on top of the Outpost. Aim your cannon at the entrance and fire away. Take your time! You don’t need to worry about the Outpost’s volcano going off and taking your ship out.
This is an individual Challenge, so each member in your crew will need to shoot themselves from a cannon.
Take a seat on a Harpoon Rowboat in the pond at Hidden Spring Keep
To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to sit down on a Harpoon Rowboat in the pond at Hidden Spring Keep.
You’ll first want to find yourself a Harpoon Rowboat. You can randomly find Rowboats on the shores of large and small islands in any region. Once you find one with a Harpoon, attach it to your ship and sail to Hidden Spring Keep in The Shores of Plenty.
Once at the fort, you’ll want to detach your Rowboat and row it onto the island. You’ll need to use the Harpoon on the Rowboat to drag yourself the rest of the way to the pond in the center of the fort. Once you’ve managed to maneuver it into the pond, take a seat to complete the Challenge.
This is an individual Challenge, so each member in your crew will need to sit in the Rowboat.
Invite an Ashen Lord to lose themselves in dance using a Jigball
To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to shoot an Ashen Lord with a Jigball to make it dance.
You can find Jigballs randomly in Resource Barrels on Outposts, islands, Sea Forts, and Forts. You can also find them in Barrels of Plenty, outposts, large islands, and sea forts, as well as in shipwrecks and Rowboats.
Once you have a Jigball, you’ll need to scan the horizon for an Ashen Winds World Event. Once you spot the World Event, sail over to find an Ashen Lord waiting to dance at your command. Lure the Ashen Lord over to your ship’s cannons or a cannon on the island and hit it with a Jigball to make it dance.
This is a group Challenge, so as long as one person completes it, the Challenge will unlock for everyone on the crew.
Make friends not foes with another crew by repairing a hole in their ship
To complete this Challenge, you must repair a hole in another crew’s ship.
You’ll need to find a rival crew on the sea, board their ship, and repair any damage they might have. It doesn’t have to be from you. It can be from another crew, Kraken, Megalodon, or Skeleton Ship.
You can try to find another crew and communicate your intentions, hopefully trading completion on the Challenge, or make your way to Hourglass, board a rival crew after a burst of cannonfire, and repair one of the holes you created in their ship.
No matter how you board a rival crew’s ship, you’ll complete the Challenge as soon as you repair a hole. Just make sure you don’t start bucketing water out of their ship unless they ask for your assistance!
This is an individual Challenge, so each member in your crew will need to repair a hole.
Watch a Bilge Rats Firework Display from the Outpost seating area with 4 other pirates
To complete this Challenge, you’ll need to watch a Bilge Rats Firework Display from the Outpost seating area with four other pirates.
Each Outpost has a designated seating area for watching the Firework Display. You can spot the seating area by looking for several seats that are not usually present at the Outpost, covered in orange and blue.
Once you have four other pirates, wait for the Firework Display to start on an Outpost. Only one Firework Display occurs at a time, taking place at 9pm in-game. You can speak with Larinna to find out which Outpost will have the next Firework Display. Each Firework Display lasts three minutes, so you’ll have between 9pm and 12am in-game to vomit.
The schedule for the Firework Display is as follows:
- Sanctuary Outpost
- Port Merrick Outpost
- Plunder Outpost
- Ancient Spire Outpost
- Dagger Tooth Outpost
- Galleon’s Grave Outpost
This is a group Challenge, so as long as one person completes it, the Challenge will unlock for everyone on the crew.
